British Sprint Heats.
Pretty good race, the first part of the course was pretty tough on the brain but i just about kept in touch with the map enough not to make any mistakes. As i was coming round a corner at speed i saw someone about 2 meters away coming towards me looking at his map, thankfully we were about the same size so when we did hit each other neither of us went flying but i got whiplash which hurt for a couple of hours, i took the rest of the blind corners a little slower after that. When we entered the first bit of woods i didn't realise the fence was uncrossable until 5-6 seconds after i passed the gate so lost about 15s. Started to feel tired on the next control and made small errors on the next 2 after that losing 3-4 seconds on each. A clean run would have been 20-25s faster which was just about the time for the cut-off for the A-final.
Best performance at a sprint so far i think.

British Sprint B-Final
Another good run but this time the course was a bit boring, The 1st half was urban again but this time there was a lot more time to think ahead, don't think i lost more than 5 seconds on the first urban section. On 13 i was being a girl picking my way down the hill to the stream instead of just charging down which probably cost 5 seconds, i took a looping route to 14 which was a bit unnecesary but didn't lose much time, Started to feel tired going up the hill to 16. Lost another few seconds on 23 going all the way through the bog rather than over the hill. Probably only lost 15 seconds overall.
Came 6th on the B final but beat 3 of the A finallists.

Quite happy with both races.

Great Tower Tech Event.
1st control slightly in the wrong place and placed flat on the ground 1:20 lost.
3rd control was on the wrong side of the hill 10 seconds lost.
5th control too far up the hill 20 seconds lost. Control sites were starting to annoy me so i was scanning around all the time. If you're going to put controls flat on the ground then make sure they're in the right place.
8 i climbed down through a big gap in a massive crag and assumed it was THE gap in the crag shown on the map, i then realised i was next to a small patch of open further up the crag and corrected myself. 25 secs.
10 and 11 the print was quite worn out on my 2nd hand map which made it a bit hard to navigate. 30 secs.
Lost most time on dodgy controls and the map so not too worried about it.
