Running (Daybreak lake + Bri Loop) 1:14:20 [3] 10.65 mi (6:59 / mi)
slept:7.5

Ran at 10:30am. It was already 90 degrees at the start. My legs are a little sore but feel dead. The dry air was really bothering me but I tried not to think about it. I ran on as much grass as possible.

Running (Snowbird) 57:00 [5] 6.7 mi (8:30 / mi)
slept:7.0

I'll have to check the elevation on this run when I get home. We ran as far up as we could get in 30min and turned around. It was about 2.75mi up and took me about 18:30 on the way down. At 15min I passed Bingham's #1 (Jeremy). When he passed me back at 15:30, I checked my watched and slowed to a crawl, distraught that I was only just over half way. At that moment Jeremy started lengthening the gap and I began weeping and swearing. Moments later the trail "flatened out" and I threw in a "surge" while keeping Jeremy in my sight. He made it about 100m past me. I took it easy on the way down and let go when the trail was safe to do so.

Running (Bri Loop) 28:50 [2] 4.1 mi (7:02 / mi)

I had a slight stomach ache on this run. Again, it was in the upper 90's out and my mouth was very dry. My legs seemed to feel a little better than yesterday's 2nd run.

Running (Neighborhood & Canal) 1:12:00 [2] 9.2 mi (7:50 / mi)
slept:8.0

Quads are sore. Took off extremely slowly and picked it up to about 7:30 pace the last half hour. (Ran with a few Bingham HS guys).

Running (Bri Loop) 28:20 [2] 4.1 mi (6:55 / mi)

Behh. My mouth was so very extremely dry on this run. My legs are feeling a little weak. I'm not sure if it is because of all the yardwork I'm doing (6hrs today), or the double runs and little sleep (less than 7hrs) that I'm getting.

Running (Alta (Utah Mountains)) 56:00 [5] 8.2 mi (6:50 / mi)
slept:7.0

Hardest run of the year. 3mi up, 3mi down. Started at just under 8000ft and went up to just under 10000ft. Time = 38:14.

Running (Bri Loop) 28:00 [2] 4.1 mi (6:50 / mi)

I only did 4.5hrs of yardwork after the morning run. I stopped because I had a headache and wanted to take a nap. I did this run at 6:30pm and felt alright.

Running (Bingham HS to Riverton) 1:00:00 [2] 7.8 mi (7:42 / mi)
slept:6.8

Started out around 8:30 pace until we got to the trail which is all on gravel. Went out in 33min, back in 27.

Running (Bri Loop w/out Bri) 28:10 [3] 4.1 mi (6:52 / mi)

I was tired on this run and that's about it. Ran at 7:30pm.

Running (Day Break Lake, Utah) 50:00 [3] 7.55 mi (6:37 / mi)
slept:7.5

Ran at 7am and it was already hot. The air is dry and I felt like I got a good workout. I did not really notice the altitude though.

Running (Bri Loop) 33:00 [3] 4.0 mi (8:15 / mi)

Ran after 9:30pm and after Banana Walnut pancakes from IHOP.

Sunday Jul 12, 2009 #

Running (Camelot Loop) 32:00 [2] 4.3 mi (7:27 / mi)
slept:8.0

Ran at 5:30am. Took off incredibly slowly. I felt good at the end of the run but then I tried to stretch. My legs are so tight!
