Ran extra slow. I feel like I am limping a little. Legs are sore from weights yesterday (especially my upper hamstring/lower glute area).

Monday Nov 2, 2009 #

Cycling (around the valley) 2:18:00 [3] 39.0 mi (3:32 / mi)
slept:10.0

Rode along Green River Trail but most of it was blocked off with sand barriers. Came up Bolger Road (.85mi) and sped down at 46.2mph. I took a lot of detours on this ride and went longer than planned because I didn't work today. Came up Hi Crest Drive and it was wrong! Biking is so much more mental than running up this thing.

Running (Weyerhaeuser) 36:30 [2] 4.75 mi (7:41 / mi)

Ran to the far interval area after stopping briefly at the old warm-up spot. I jogged around a little bit once there but did not calculate it in this log. Jeff was warming down on the faster side so I caught up to him to get him to slow down. It almost gave me a heart attack doing so. My heart rate felt really high on this run. When I got to the interval area, my pulse rate was about 144bpm @ ~30-60 seconds after stopping (pace = ~8min/mi). When I caught up to Jeff on the warm-down, it was probably in the 180-190 range when I was only going maybe 6:15 pace. Hamstring is still tight.
