Running (Snoqualmie Valley Trail) 2:20:10 [3] 21.0 mi (6:40 / mi)
slept:10.2

Started at golf course. Kyle rode his bike next to me. We had a freaking headwind the whole way out (up) and I wasn't too happy about it. I had the mp3 player up loud to block out the wind noise. I'm pretty sure I went out too fast. My goal was to simulate how I will run the marathon in May. I now have a feeling it is going to suck. I wanted to average 6:00 pace for that marathon but now I feel I'll be lucky to break 3 hours. I told Kyle to give me the energy gel and water at 1hr. I even pointed to another runner's water bottle that he was carrying around his waist as to what I was talking about. Then at 1hr, Kyle gave me the gel and as soon as I got it in my mouth, I began gasping for air. I signaled for the water but Kyle couldn't find it!!! He had like 20 zippers on his backpack and he didn't know where it was. So I told him to stop and get it. Meanwhile he gave me his water bottle and I couldn't drink out of it because it was splashing me in the face and then I got a big gulp and started choking. So I threw it down and kept on going. Then Kyle caught back up and told me my water bottles were not in his back pack. So I told him to tell me when we reached 10 miles so we could turn around. But I had my stupid mp3 player on and couldn't hear him. (That was my stupid fault). When I asked him if we were there yet, he said we were at 10.4; and that he "told" me. So we turned around and I was mad by now. I drank the last of his water and that was that. Then I took off my mp3 player when one of the songs got annoying. I lost the rubber ear bud tip, so I turned around to look for it for about 10 seconds and gave up. Then I got a side stitch for about 15 minutes. Then Kyle said we were almost there. I believed him. We still had 4 more miles to go! I thought I'd be running sub-6 minute miles at this point with the tail wind and down hill. But my legs were feeling pretty crappy and I desperately wanted to be done. Mile splits = 6:31, 6:18, 6:44, 6:38, 6:36, 6:34, 6:28, 6:39, 6:40, 7:06, 6:39, 6:16, 6:14, 6:15, 7:21, 7:20, 6:39, 6:50, 6:45, 6:39, 6:53.

Running (Hill Repeats with Illahee) 7:00 [3] 0.95 mi (7:22 / mi)
slept:8.0

.27mi warm-up, straight into the hill repeats; walked down each time. Walked up a 6th one when I finished to cool off. Hill is STEEP (210m).
3 PM

Running (Boardwalk, Interurban) 1:08:20 [3] 9.15 mi (7:28 / mi)

Took off from TJ. When I caught up to Jacob & Jeff, we took it pretty easy. By the time we got to the bike trail we were going about 7:00 pace. Then we gradually brought it down to about 6:40 pace for the last 3.5-4mi (with a tail wind). I felt pretty good even though my legs were a little tired from the hill repeats this morning and doing PE all week.

Running (Tuesday Loop from TJ) 1:04:50 [2] 9.15 mi (7:05 / mi)

Ran during my planning period from TJ at 11am. Legs did not feel good; but they didn't hurt either. Did 2 field loops back at TJ.

Running (Camelot from TJ) 31:30 [1] 4.0 mi (7:53 / mi)
slept:8.9

Warm-up was painfully slow; but my stomach wasn't feeling too well so I didn't mind. At the start of the Camelot Tempo Loop, I picked up the pace to probably 7:00 per mile and then a little faster on the back stretch. Nothing bothered me except my stomach.

Running (Camelot + 288th) 36:40 [2] 4.95 mi (7:24 / mi)
slept:8.47

I was going to do a long run today but I felt like crap after school. I rolled my left ankle on Friday and today my left lower shin area was aching a little. My stomach has been upset the last few days and I felt absolutely drained on the run.

Running (TJ, Kilo, 288th) 43:10 [2] 6.3 mi (6:51 / mi)
slept:8.1

Ran to TJ and stopped. Continued running. Hamstring was semi tight. I hate running on the side of the road.
