11 AM

Cycling (to Seward Park & back) 2:10:00 [3] 41.2 mi (3:09 / mi)
slept:9.2

My hamstrings tightened up after ~3mi and my butt started hurting at the same time. I thought I would be miserable the whole time or have to turn back but it went away and I enjoyed the ride. I find that I really enjoy surging on the bike.

Running (Camelot Loop) 32:20 [2] 4.1 mi (7:53 / mi)
slept:9.0

Worked on my classes all day. Felt sick. I was going to take the day off (3rd of the month) because I ate dinner and it was late in the day. Then Vanessa talked some sense into me and I got out the door. Felt much better.

Running (5mi Lake from Beamer) 57:00 [1] 7.65 mi (7:27 / mi)
slept:7.7

Took off from Beamer and felt fine. After about 30min, my right ischium/hip/femur/adductor area started hurting. I ended up limping back to Beamer!

Running (Camelot + TJ Figure-8) 1:20:50 [2] 10.65 mi (7:35 / mi)
slept:8.7

Ran to TJ around the Camelot way. Picked up the pace on 288th. Legs felt fast. Waited for a half hour at TJ for them to start. Took off incredibly slow. Ran with Jacob a little faster, but still at easy conversation pace the whole way.

Running (Evergreen Lake Dolloff TJ) 59:40 [2] 8.3 mi (7:11 / mi)
slept:9.6

Ran easy the whole way. Right ischium/hip/femur area bothered me the first 40 minutes and then completely went away. Felt good otherwise; and nothing is sore.

Running (Big Climb) 10:00 [5] 1.3 mi (7:42 / mi)
slept:9.2

Did the Big Climb at the Columbia Tower (69 flights, 1,311 steps, 788ft vertical elevation). I walked the whole thing. It was hard to tell how much yesterday's run affected me for this climb. By the 5th - 10th flight, I felt as if I took off too hard; but it didn't get any worse. I looked at what flight I was on for the first time (on accident) on the 48th floor. Around the 60th floor was when I noticeably slowed down (on the turns). I also slowed when I passed people (~50) because I could only use 1 railing to pull myself up. I was dazed at the top and hesitated before proceeding out the door through the finish. The "puke factor" was definitely high when I finished but I ate right at breakfast (oatmeal & bagel) and had no issues. Total time & distance = warm-up & cool-down. Climb = 8:44
3 PM

Running (Camelot Loop) 30:15 [2] 4.1 mi (7:23 / mi)

Legs felt surprisingly good. The only thing that bothered me was my right ischium/hip area after about 20min.
