Running (Meredith Hill) 15:30 [1] 1.85 mi (8:23 / mi)
slept:8.0

I wasn't sure if I was going to attempt to run today or not; but I knew that I was going to give it a go sometime this weekend. I know that it was only 15 minutes, but man, it felt good to get my legs moving. I don't think it was long enough to tell, but my left knee felt totally fine. My right big toe on the other hand, hurt like a you-know-what whenever I put much pressure on it.

Running (O @ Pt. Defiance) 1:00:00 [2] 7.0 mi (8:34 / mi)
slept:10.35

Distance and time are a guess. Jogged course 4 (8.5k) and felt fine. Left knee still bothered me; but the frequent stopping helped me get through it, I think. I fell just after the 21st control and hurt my right big toe. I limped the rest of the way in. Control #1 was difficult but found it because I saw somebody leaving. #2 was hard. I backtracked and cut in on #5, which was dumb. I should have just gone to the cliff like I eventually did. #8 was further from the trail than I thought would be. I think some people were quitting and I thought it may have not been there. I should have taken the small footpath right to it. #15 wasn't hard, but I screwed up when I got there, just like I did a couple years ago in this area. I keep forgetting that white is open forest. I wasted nearly 5 minutes pacing back and forth on the trail. Overall, it was a very fun course and a nice day. I just wish I didn't hurt my toe. Time = 1:31:51
