Running (Lake Youngs) 59:45 [4] 9.25 mi (6:28 / mi)
slept:8.2

Ran with Ben and Benjamin (Kenyans) clockwise from east parking lot. First 3 miles = slow. Gradually started picking up the pace after the hill. Ended up running marathon pace the second half. Every time I came to a hill, my legs felt tired and my breathing deepened; and Ben would build a gap between us. I ran with him the whole way while Benjamin fell off and finished in 63. I don't know why I could never break 60 here when I was at Highline. We probably would have gone 57 or faster today had we not gone out so slowly.

Running (Tuesday Loop) 1:08:00 [2] 9.3 mi (7:19 / mi)
slept:9.0

Legs not feeling that great these past few days. Took it easy the whole time. Nothing hurt. Picked up the pace towards the end to maybe 6:00 for about a mile; but my effort was still conversation pace. 12 minute ice bath.

Running (Star Lake + Kilo) 1:00:00 [2] 8.3 mi (7:14 / mi)
slept:9.8

Went a little longer than planned, but I went easy the whole way. Left achilles area is still bothering me a little. 15 minute ice bath.

Running (to Weyerhaeuser & back) 1:30:00 [2] 12.15 mi (7:24 / mi)
slept:8.6

First mile = 8:40 (it felt slower than that). Ran as easy as possible. Hamstrings are very tight! I still cannot do bicycle kicks when doing crunches because I feel a sharp pain in my right adductor. Nothing hurt during the run but I can definitely feel the soreness. Took a 15 minute ice bath.

Running (BPA Trail) 1:11:40 [3] 10.4 mi (6:53 / mi)
slept:7.2

Ran up the hill behind the Aquatic Center to the end of the BPA Trail and came back around the baseball fields near Winco, through the interval trail, and around the baseball fields at Celebration Park. Did 2 barefoot strides; felt slow and forceful. Legs are definitely tired and sore. My breathing felt erratic most of the time even though the effort wasn't forceful.

Running (ext. Boardwalk) 1:01:00 [3] 8.0 mi (7:37 / mi)
slept:8.13

Ran from TJ with Jeff to the bottom of 272nd, through Fennwick Lake, up Reith Road, around West Fennwick Park, along Military, through Lost Creek, back to TJ. Lifted weights before and after. Took a 17 minute ice bath! (allowed the water to drain the last 2 minutes)
5 PM

Running (TJ Field Loops) 31:05 [1] 4.4 mi (7:04 / mi)

6 perimeter field loops with shoes, 7 baseball field loops barefoot, 2 x 100m strides. Felt good, especially when I was running barefoot. I believe the ice bath helped my legs a lot. Did 60 push-ups and 120 crunches when I was done.
