Running (Lake Youngs x2) 2:00:40 [3] 18.75 mi (6:26 / mi)

Ran from the bathroom, around the lake clockwise, twice, and back. I'm estimating the trail to be ~9.23mi and ~0.14mi to the bathroom. Took first split at the top of the hill after the first loop and back at the bathroom in the end (1:00.32, 1:00.08). Ran with Ben, Erastus and Grace along with the Highline guys. After about half way, Ben, Erastus and I dropped them. Then Ben and I slowed it down after about 8mi at my request so that we could even split on the run. At the top of the hill when I took my split, I thought that I was going to run around 67min for the 2nd loop. But when we got to a downhill, my legs felt good again. On the south end of the lake, Ben let loose on the downhill and I took it easy because I rolled my left ankle on the stretch just before coming out to the road. I never caught back up to him; and he finished ~1min ahead of me. Kentridge was having some kind of fundraiser going on and there were water stations throughout the trail; but we didn't take anything. I was pleased with the run because we ran a good pace and I left a good amount in the tank so that I could run next week.

Running (Celebration Park from Sac) 1:01:00 [2] 8.75 mi (6:58 / mi)
slept:7.8

Subbed at Sacajawea today. Ate a meat sandwich, fiber 1 bar and a banana at 11:45am. Ran at 3pm. Pit-stop at Celebration Park. I hate running on Dash Point Road (too much traffic and the shoulder is very slanted). It felt good though, to get out after sitting down all day. I felt like a dog being released from my leash and running free. My hamstrings are still sore from Tuesday's squats.

Running (40/20 w/Highline) 28:10 [3] 3.9 mi (7:13 / mi)
slept:9.1

Ran with Anthony at Highline to post office and back. We went hard for 20-25 and easy for 40 seconds, 10 times. The surges went by surprisingly fast. Even though I didn't eat lunch today, I still felt good.
3 PM

Running (TJ Figure-8) 42:55 [3] 6.4 mi (6:42 / mi)

Took off with TJ group and broke away after about 3 minutes of abalone pace. Even though I was feeling tired from not eating lunch, I felt like running faster than 8min pace, probably because I did the 40/20 workout 2 hours before. Hamstrings are still very sore from Tuesday's squats. 15 minute ice bath. The middle toe on my left foot is infected (ingrown toenail?) and the middle of my forefoot still hurts.

Running (ext Evergreen, Kilo/288th) 1:00:00 [2] 8.37 mi (7:10 / mi)
slept:9.55

First mile = 8:27. Legs are sore from squats yesterday. Kept it easy the whole way. Bottom of left foot still hurts (center of forefoot).

Weights 25:00 [3]

I ate a yogurt and drank chocolate milk after my run. Then I went to a meeting at Highline and straight to TJ to do a workout while the kids did Camelot Loop. Squats = 20reps/45lbs, 15reps/65lbs, 10reps/95lbs, 6reps/145lbs, 11reps/115lbs, 16reps/95lbs, 21reps/65lbs, 26reps/45lbs. Leg Extensions = 10-25lbs 3sets/rotating both and single legged.

Running (Cemetery + Weyerhaeuser) 1:45:40 [2] 15.22 mi (6:57 / mi)
slept:10.0

Ran into Tuesday Loop, turned left on 321st, south on Military and into Weyerhaeuser the back way, perimeter loop section, north on Military to 288th and home. I decided to sleep in today because I knew it was going to be sunny; so I got over 10 hours of sleep. I was going to run on an empty stomach but decided to just eat a small bowl of oatmeal and slice of bread. It wasn't good but it gave me enough energy for the run. I probably could have done without the tea. That just goes right through me. I wore my teal short shorts and 80's Ellensburg tank top. It was a nice run.

6 AM

Running (Camelot Loop) 32:20 [1] 4.1 mi (7:53 / mi)
slept:7.4

Woke up at 5:15am. Ran at 5:45. It felt warm out. Wore my $1.83 running shorts. Listened to music. Went as easy as possible. Awesome run.
2 PM

Running (Star Lake Loop) 32:30 [2] 4.5 mi (7:13 / mi)

Ran at 1:45pm. Felt slow and tired. Note to self: do not eat banana before running! I felt it in my esophagus and kept having to spit during the run. My spit was thick. I've been limping around the house since Saturday's race because I think I hurt my left ankle. However, when I run, I don't feel it.
