12 PM

Running (O @ Priest Point Park) 1:15:00 [3] 8.45 mi (8:53 / mi)
slept:10.5

2.25mi warm-up to San Francisco Road & back to start of course. I won't go into detail regarding my route choices as I went off the trails during several portions and ended up a little cut up and with smelly shoes. I made the mistake of running to control #9 instead of #6 because I held the map upside down and got confused. It was a long route from 5-6 and I had actually stopped right next to #6 en route. Then after #6, I ran back to #9 instead of #7! Then after #8 I got stuck in some muck down by the water! However, I never gave up. Instead, I decided to take a long route to #10 and focus on reading the map. I'm not disappointed in my run because it just goes to show that nothing comes easy. Anyways, I ate a piece of delicious banana bread afterwards, along with a cup cake and a weight loss shake (no cool-down).

Running (Camelot Loop) 31:00 [1] 4.1 mi (7:34 / mi)

Ran shortly after cleaning off my feet from the orienteering meet (lots of mud). Legs felt tight from the hour-long car ride home and no cool-down. Felt much better at the end.

6 AM

Running (Camelot Loop) 32:00 [1] 4.1 mi (7:48 / mi)
slept:7.0

First mile = 8:46. It felt warm out and I did not need gloves.
3 PM

Running (Tuesday Loop) 48:10 [1] 6.45 mi (7:28 / mi)

Legs are definitely tired. I had a few good moments (slight downhills) that my legs felt good. However, my left achilles/shin area is starting to ache again (just a little).

Running (Brannan Park Loop) 1:19:05 [2] 10.62 mi (7:27 / mi)
slept:9.1

Legs felt a little tired at the start and pretty good after a couple miles. I tried to find the trail that connects Brannan Park to the new homes at the bottom of 272nd, but was stopped by sticker bushes. After looking at Google Earth, it looks like I may have to jump over the sand bags.
4 PM

Running (Camelot Loop) 31:15 [1] 4.3 mi (7:16 / mi)

Ran Camelot Loop clockwise to TJ and stopped at the weight room for a few minutes. Legs felt fresh and it felt warm out.

Running (Green River Road Loop) 1:23:55 [2] 11.95 mi (7:01 / mi)
slept:8.0

Worked all day (PE) with no planning period. I stood out in the cold for 2 periods (first and last) and I felt like cuddling up by a heater. However, I told some kids [who were complaining about the cold (42 degrees)] how it was actually perfect weather for running and that I was going to run 10 miles after school. I would say that I don't know why I told them that, because I actually had no intentions on running 10 miles, but the truth is, I know exactly why I said that; because then I would HAVE to run 10 miles! Thus, there would be no convincing myself to wimp out. I just wished that I had not eaten those 4 cookies with my lunch. However, I never had any issues. I ran down to Brannan Park, across the bridge to Green River Road, right at the bottom of Lea Hill, right on Auburn Way, left on 15th, saw mom at the stoplight by Arco as I was surging through the intersection, up Jornada, and home.

9 AM

Running (Tuesday + 288th) 1:01:50 [1] 8.4 mi (7:22 / mi)
slept:8.2

Took off extremely slowly. Legs felt tired and I didn't work today so I just planned on going as long as I felt. I should have run before breakfast. Running 2hrs after food makes me feel pregnant. Perhaps the tea also has something to do with it. The outside of my left shin was a little achy. I have chaffing all over my waste band area.
4 PM

Running (Camelot Loop) 32:15 [1] 4.15 mi (7:46 / mi)

Ran at 4:30pm. Everything felt fine but I had an upset stomach so I took it extra easy the whole way.

Running (Cemetery, 320th, Pac Hwy) 1:29:30 [3] 13.05 mi (6:51 / mi)
slept:6.0

Hardly slept last night because I was nervous about school today. I shut my alarm off in the middle of the night and when the automated system called me to work I hung up. I got up at 7:35 and ate my normal breakfast (oatmeal and bagel). As I was eating I got a call from Graciela to work at TJ for 2 different people; so I grabbed 2 cookies and my half pound bag of watermelon jellybeans (lunch). The engine of my car was frozen so I had to bike (not that I ever drive to TJ); there was still ice all over. So I finally got out the door at 3pm with that knot feeling in my stomach (jellybeans). It actually felt better as I went along, and the sun was out so I had a very nice run. Went through the Evergreen trail, around Cemetery Rd., along 320th, down Pacific Hwy., right on 312th, along Military Rd., 4 laps @ TJ, and home.

Running (ext. Tuesday Loop) 52:40 [1] 7.2 mi (7:19 / mi)
slept:10.0

Easy day. Bottom/outside/middle part of my left foot hurts a little near the bone (like my right foot did a few days ago). Perhaps it is from running flat footed on the ice? I felt like I had a shot put right beneath my belly button during the 2nd half of the run, but it didn't cause any trouble. I think it's from the leftover pizza I ate for lunch.
