Running (Orienteering @ GRCC) 1:16:00 [4] 9.85 mi (7:43 / mi)
slept:8.6

25 minute warm-up to BPA power lines just south of Auburn Mountainview HS (3.7mi). I was only going to do a 2mi warm-up, but I was having trouble warming up. After the running the course, I did an 11 minute warm-down (1.65mi). I felt good afterwards and was happy I did not get hurt today. I think I had a good run on the course, but I believe I lost ~3-4 minutes from errors. From 12-13, I lost ~2 minutes because I went through the fence right away, following some guy without looking at the map more than once. I knew once I got to the trail, I would see the control in the open. However, I began to think the trail was indistinct when actually, I wasn't on a trail at all! I had a hard time simply walking sideways on the rock filled hill. Then I went through sticker bushes. I should have gone along the trail at the top and past 14 en route to 13, like I did when I went from 13 to 14 to 15. Oh well; that's what I get for taking a risk. My only other route choice that I think wasn't the best was from 8-9. I went up instead of down along the Green River. I walked/crawled up and around without considering the other route because I knew that further down was more susceptible to flooding and marshy land. From 9-10, I think I should have one of the fastest splits because I backtracked and went straight up the hill with sticks in hand and right to it. I'd be surprised if anybody had a faster split than me from 7-8. Even though it was slow going, it was ridiculous!

Running (FW McD's + Amanda +Egreen) 1:15:40 [1] 10.75 mi (7:02 / mi)
slept:9.5

Ran to TJ, along Military, to Steel Lake, around FW McDonald's, through Amanda's neighborhood from 320th, back down Military to 320th, through Evergreen trail, home. Kept it easy the whole time and everything felt good; except my legs felt sluggish every time I came to a hill.

Running (Lake Dolloff Loop) 30:10 [1] 4.1 mi (7:21 / mi)
slept:9.5

Slept in a little because I needed the extra sleep. Got called in to work at Decatur. As I was getting ready, I got a call from the office saying that I didn't need to be there until 9am. So I took off for a short run at 7:53am. It was nice even though I ate breakfast only an hour before.
3 PM

Running (BPA Trail) 1:03:00 [1] 8.65 mi (7:17 / mi)

Felt cold at the start but perfect after a couple miles. Stomach wasn't feeling too well and I had to make a couple pit-stops. However, the run was very enjoyable otherwise. I also saw a coyote by the playground near the end of the trail.

Running (Tuesday Loop +) 1:13:00 [2] 9.95 mi (7:20 / mi)
slept:8.0

Felt cooler than what it indicated on weather.com, but it was clear out and too nice to complain. Ran with Ruston into Tuesday Loop after school, 2 laps on the track at a brisk pace, then around Bristol Heights to Meredith Hill where I finished and stretched. Legs are a little fatigued from yesterday's run, but not sore.

Running (Milton Loop +) 2:17:20 [3] 20.5 mi (6:42 / mi)
slept:7.5

Kyle rode the bike alongside; as predicted, this would cause me to run faster. Oh well, the effort seemed very easy the whole way as we were talking the entire time. I had to make a pit-stop in Milton at some storage complex. I stopped again at the south-end of the West Hylebos wetlands because Kyle and I got separated when trying to cross the street, and I was looking for an alternate route through the trails. I didn't want to waste any more time looking for the trail entrance so we continued on Pacific Highway. Then I needed to make another pit-stop so we took a detour to Celebration Park. By then it was getting dark, and I had chaffing in my arm-pits, so I picked up the pace the rest of the way home.

Running (TJ, L. Dolloff, 288th, MH) 50:00 [2] 7.05 mi (7:06 / mi)
slept:9.66

Woke up very tired from long day yesterday (run 5:00am, Flotrack 7:30-6:30, TJ b-ball 7:00-9:00, upload 9:00-11:30pm). Worked on my online classes and added results to each Flotrack video all day. Skipped lunch and missed my long run. Didn't get out the door until 6pm. It is way easier to run on an empty stomach than a full. I felt light and was able to run on the faster side even though my first mile = 8:30.
