Worked on computer all day. Legs felt pretty good on the run. Absolutely no aches or pains anywhere! Nothing! They don't even feel sore!

Running (O @ N. Seatac Park) 1:02:00 [2] 6.65 mi (9:19 / mi)

Warm-up to 509 exit ramp (15:30, 2.15mi). Had trouble with control #2 & 9. Slipped on mud going to #5 and cut my right knee again! I think it's fine though. I was cautious the rest of the way and made sure I knew where I was going before hitting the NOS.

Legs felt pretty good the whole time. Nothing bothered me. I was able to get this run in during my planning period 1st period (+ shower!). No time to run after school because we're having the intersquad meet and I don't want to run after it (pizza night!).

Ran from TJ down 51st to Weyerhaeuser, through the trails, to Celebration Park, along power lines to 1st Avenue, towards FWHS, back towards BPA Trail (key fell out of shorts pocket) then back to TJ via Pacific Highway and 288th. I almost gave up looking for the key and when I finally stopped to turn around, I saw it right there on the ground! I felt pretty tired the last 3 miles and very hungry/thirsty.

Had time between working the morning half of the day and videotaping Crossan's class during 7th period, so I decided to just get my run in then. Little did I know, TJ wasn't going to do anything on the track (which means I would have another opportunity to do an easy run). I took off very slowly and went down to Redondo from Sac. Went out & back along the boardwalk (very nice day!) and up 272nd. Legs felt pretty good. When I got back to TJ, my watch read 60min (8.75mi). There was a fire alarm going on and I was planning on doing ~90min anyways, so I continued onto Camelot Loop.

Ran in stinky wet clothes ~2.5hrs after my first run. Maybe not the smartest idea, especially since I downed a can of V8 vegetable juice in between runs. I was going to run with the team but they took off slower than I could handle, so I just kept a steady pace the whole way, for the sake of my stomach.

Ran Tuesday Loop on my own (47:30, 6.9mi). Didn't feel very good; no lunch today. 2nd loop was with TJ ~10min later, but with 3 laps on track before and after. Didn't take split of 2nd loop but it was slower (and I felt better albeit hungrier).

Forgot my half tights so I drove home and watched tv until 2pm (working half days this week). Ran back to TJ (32:00, 4.5mi), felt horrible! Probably should have had something else for lunch other than fig newtons and hot chocolate (Kevin Selby got me into the fig newtons). Ran over to hill down the street from Leah's (~1.25mi). Workout = 12x300m hills (4 sets of easy, medium, hard). Easy splits = 69-67, Medium = 62-57, Hard = 53-50. Jogged back to TJ, hung out for awhile and then ran home (34:00, 5mi). The workout felt surprisingly easy, especially considering how slow I ran up from the valley to TJ on the way to practice. I never went into oxygen debt during this workout and I didn't feel any lactic acid until after the 3rd medium. (hill = steep at the start for 10sec, levels out, then ~12sec steep, then flat the last 8sec)

Ate 1/3 of a container of fig newtons for lunch. Didn't feel like running today after my hip bothered me yesterday. However, this has happened for the past few weeks and the very next run I don't feel any discomfort. That just so happened to be the case for today's run as well. On the other hand, I kept it very easy most of the way. I was going to do a 2mi time trial but decided against it because my stomach going to work on the fig newtons. Ran around middle school track near Clark Lake, then around the lake and back home. Going up and down James Street hill is brutal!
