Had a headache and didn't feel like running today as I knew I wasn't going to have a good run. Decided to run anyways because it would probably make me feel better (which it did). However, my left achilles got a little achy during parts of the run. I felt like my femur (forget which leg) was hurting throughout as well and causing me to take short strides.

Felt crappy the whole way. Left achilles is starting to ache. Left hip is almost not bothering me anymore. My shoes feel worn out.

Ran 6.9mi loop with Yohan and Lionel. After 30min, we did 15min tempo and then 1min jog in parking lot. The 15min tempo turned out to be 2.56mi (5:52 pace). It was slower at the start because we gained ~100ft in a quarter to a half mile. The rest of the run was flat and felt easy.

Felt horrible from the start. I hate trying to run after taking a day off. It feels like I haven't run in a few weeks! My left hip still hurts a little from orienteering on Sunday.

Warm-up = 3 field loops (10:30, 1.5mi). Cool-down = control pick-up on north end of course. Went along the road (perimeter of the map, 22min, 2.9mi). Ran the course (40 control Score-O) in 54 minutes, having lost ~7min from overshooting errors. I skipped control 40 on accident and went back for it after I had finished (+1.25mi). Total time is now 66min. Left hip hurt during the cool-down, but I think I am fine. I ran much faster today than I had planned. Oh well, it was a good workout. Route choice = start, 2, 38, 37, 39, 35, 34, 26, 25, 23, 24, 36, 28, 27, 33, 29, 32, 31, 30, 19, 22, 18, 21, 20, 17, 15, 14, 13, 12, 11, 10, 8, 9, 6, 7, 5, 3, 4, 1, finish, 40, finish.
