Running (Saltwater +Camelot/SBriar) 1:39:00 [2] 15.0 mi (6:36 / mi)
slept:7.5

Ran right before practice. Saltwater trail is not a good trail to go on; too many roots, mud and overgrown bushes that make me itch when I brush my legs against them. I think the trail is 0.8mi but Mother Matthews told me it was 1mi back in 2010; so I'm estimating 0.9 today since it took me ~8min to get through. Took a break when I got back to TJ and then ran Camelot + Sweet Briar ~30min afterwards (28:34, 4.2mi). Legs are feeling better and I threw in a few very relaxed surges. Right now my legs are feeling achy and on the verge of injury when I start out some of my runs but everything goes away completely at some point or another, and I feel like I can fly!

Running (Tuesday+Military+Camelot) 1:14:29 [1] 10.53 mi (7:04 / mi)
slept:8.0

Planned on only doing about 8mi but I felt better as the run went on.

Running (3 laps on track + Camelot) 29:02 [1] 4.05 mi (7:10 / mi)

Ran with Matt & Hunter. Kept it very easy the whole way. They did 1.5mi tempo to Circle K and I just picked it up each half mile. I don't know what my splits were but they were not under 6min pace. My legs are starting to feel a little better but I don't think I'll be doing any 2hr runs for a little while.

Running (Laurelwood + Lake Dolloff) 44:06 [1] 5.93 mi (7:26 / mi)
slept:8.6

I felt like I was in my 2nd trimester of pregnancy, absolutely bloated. I don't know why, because all I had for lunch was 3 fig newton's. Perhaps it was the quesadillas, organic bread and pile of oatmeal that I ate for dinner last night, and the large bowl this morning with extra expired brown sugar. I didn't so much have to go to the bathroom; I just felt awful!
2 PM

Running (Weyerhaeuser) 47:16 [1] 6.5 mi (7:16 / mi)

Ran ~1hr after my first run, and after drinking a V8 and eating a Kashi bar. Still felt pregnant but not as bad. I was going to run to Weyerhaeuser on the first run but had to abort after my unexpected pregnancy. I decided to give it a go at TJ's practice because there were only 4 girls and Matt; so I thought I would run with Matt while finishing my planned run from earlier. Well Matt chickened out when we got to my car and well, I'm not a chicken, so I ended up running alone. The run actually went better than expected. It wasn't great, but it was somewhat enjoyable and I'm glad I did it!

Running (Tuesday +Pac Hwy +Dolloff) 1:26:46 [2] 12.8 mi (6:47 / mi)
slept:8.0

Legs felt better than they have lately, even after yesterday's bike ride. I started out slow and picked it up gradually throughout. It was hot though and my mouth was dry the entire run.

Cycling (to South Prarie & back) 3:32:15 [3] 63.7 mi (3:20 / mi)
slept:9.0

Decided not to run today to let my left achilles, knee & hip heal. It was too nice of a day to stay inside all day so I decided to go for my first bike ride since last summer. Took off during the hottest part of the day, during the hottest day of the year (78, direct sunlight) with 1 water bottle. Needless to say, I was pretty thirsty after ~45min when I took my first sip (half the bottle). I decided that since I had made it all the way to The Old Cannery, that I might as well go to the end of the Orting Trail. When I turned around, I discovered that the headwind going out was actually a side wind, and that it would work against me more so on the way back. I didn't drink anymore water until I found a water fountain (at 40.6mi). I filled up the water bottle and drank it (~28oz), and filled it up again before taking off. Overall, I stopped for 4:02 for water and all the stoplights. It seems like a long time to have to wait at stoplights but it was a long ride, especially since I was not prepared. The last 13 miles I had a really difficult time holding my head up. My neck and lower back were cramping pretty badly. I tried to ride with no handlebars so I could stretch out, but the headwind, and my bonkiness that I was experiencing made it difficult to keep my bike on the bike path.
