Running (BPA) 1:13:00 [1] 9.7 mi (7:32 / mi)
slept:11.3

Ran with Jeff to the end of the BPA trail (32min, 4.05mi) and back through Jeff's old neighborhood. Saw Lindsey Jackson on 356th putting in the miles. We had to take our shirts off because it was very muggy out. Lots of bugs on my chest after this run. Left hip and knee were aching/throbbing before the run but felt better after I warmed up.

Running (Africa + downtown) 58:19 [2] 8.8 mi (6:38 / mi)
slept:7.0

Haven't been sleeping much lately. Decided last night I was going to make more of an effort to start eating fruits, not just 1 banana a day and call it good. Bought apples, kiwi, pineapple and cantaloupe at Safeway. On the run, my left hip bothered me more than it has lately. It felt better after I warmed up but the achy feeling was present the whole way.

Running (River + City Loop in Kent) 1:10:30 [2] 10.25 mi (6:53 / mi)
slept:6.2

Ran with Jeff. Left hip bothered me at the start but went away. Felt my cupcakes that I ate 2 days ago. Threw in a few light surges while crossing streets and felt effortless.

Running (Military, TJ, W. Valley) 1:21:45 [3] 12.13 mi (6:44 / mi)
slept:6.0

Ran up Reith Road, around West Fenwick Park, down Military, 288th, TJ (for Kayla/weightroom), straight down to valley, east on 272nd, back home via West Valley Highway. Run to TJ = 45:20, 6.46mi. Home = 36:25, 5.67mi. Run to TJ = easy to moderate; run home = moderate. I felt very relaxed and my breathing was under control the entire time. Left hip still feels a little out of whack, but I ran without a shirt, and when I do that, I tend to run a little lighter on my feet.

Running (St. Patrick Figure-8) 1:01:30 [2] 9.3 mi (6:37 / mi)
slept:9.3

Slept really well last night. Spent 16 hours yesterday working on the track awards videos. Woke up this morning and finished the videos around 1:15pm. I didn't eat anything except a piece of chocolate bread for "breakfast". Once I got out the door, I felt awesome! The relief of getting everything done, the warm sun, the green leafy trees, the calm/quiet Sunday afternoon...AWESOME! I ran while Lindsey Dahl's video was saving on the computer. About 2/3 of the way through the run, I was crossing the metal bridge when I encountered an older woman on a bike. I could see her slowly walking the bike across the bridge as I closed in. Once I got close enough, she hopped on the bike and took up the pathway that I was heading onto. I got mad because she wasn't going fast enough, so I accelerated past her and kept the tempo for the next 1 mile. I probably ran under 5:30. Anyways, my left hip got tight at that time. I think I just need to ice it and stretch more. Hamstrings are still pretty sore.
