Running (Lake Youngs + Soos Creek) 1:28:20 [3] 13.4 mi (6:36 / mi)
slept:9.2

Ran Lake Youngs from the Soos Creek parking lot, then went to the end of the trail and back with Samuel. It took 6:15 to get to Lake Youngs and we ran the loop in 57:00 (which felt easy). We didn't go too crazy as the first 20 minutes were very easy and the rest were steady (easy up the hills and fast on the downhill). My left hip started hurting when we got back to the parking lot at 68min.

Running (6x800m @ Weyerhaeuser) 57:25 [4] 8.35 mi (6:53 / mi)
slept:6.0

Warm-up = 25min, 3.2mi. 6 x 800m = 2:43, 2:39, 2:30, 2:29, 2:19, 2:16. Cool-down = 17:27, 2.15mi. I wanted to do this workout and run it hard, but after yesterday, I felt that I might pull my groin; so I decided to just hang back and try to run the first few at half-marathon pace. The first 2 felt really easy and I wasn't breathing hard, so I picked it up a tad on the next 2. These felt equally easy, but I could feel some lactic acid starting to build up. I decided to stay with Luke and push him on the last 2 but he wouldn't let me run up alongside him and we ended up going a bit faster than I wanted. I got him on the last one but probably because I went too easy on the first few intervals. Overall, I'm happy with the workout because it felt easy and I didn't injure myself.

Running (Frager) 39:50 [1] 4.85 mi (8:13 / mi)

I don't know why I tried to run again today! Ischium area bothered me so much I was limping at the start. Eventually with about 5-10min to go, I finally felt better and was able to run. Took another ice bath afterwards. I've been doing this at home for about 2 weeks now and it seems to be helping (along with foam rolling).

slept:8.0

Ischium area bothered me for the first 30 minutes, then everything felt fine the rest of the run.

Running (Chambers Bay) 1:17:00 [3] 11.1 mi (6:56 / mi)
slept:8.0

Jogged 16min warm-up, then stood around for awhile as the team did drills. My first lap around the trail took me ~22:10 and the 2nd was ~18:30. My left adductor was tight during the run probably because I stood around too much after the warm-up.

Running (Des Moines Creek from HCC) 47:10 [1] 6.2 mi (7:36 / mi)
slept:8.2

Head of my femur (both legs) region is achy from Sunday's run. The ball of my right foot may be aggravated but I didn't feel it on this run. Did 4 strides afterwards and Taryn's upper body circuit + core.

Running (Frager Loop) 47:00 [1] 6.4 mi (7:21 / mi)
slept:9.0

Ran with Highline from the white bridge to 212th and back along the bike trail. Kept it ultra easy the whole way. Legs are tired from yesterday. Hamstrings feel much better. Did a leg workout at Highline afterwards.

Running (Ruston Way + Pt. Defiance) 2:04:10 [1] 16.8 mi (7:23 / mi)
slept:9.2

Felt like fall was in the air on this run, and I was excited! Kept it easy the whole time because my legs never felt much better, even after I warmed up. My hamstrings are still sore in that one spot from doing squats on Thursday. The foam rolling seems to be helping as I have no aches or pain anywhere else. I think my legs are just tired.
