Running race (Sundodger Open) 27:19 [5] 8.0 km (3:25 / km)

Running (warm-up/down) 52:00 [1] 6.75 mi (7:42 / mi)
slept:7.5

Good warm-up. Stomach didn't feel too well on the cool-down. I wasn't planning on racing Sundodger after my hips started bugging me again a few weeks ago, but I decided a few days ago to go ahead and do it since I completed the Fenwick workout on Monday without any major problems. Splits = 5:20, 5:18, 5:34, 5:42. I hit the same exact first 2 splits here last year, but this time I felt winded as a result and let up.

Running (Lincoln Park) 52:02 [1] 6.5 mi (8:00 / mi)
slept:9.0

Ultra slow run around the beach and xc course. Entire hip/groin area feels achy and stiff.

Running (Weyerhaeuser Fartlek) 1:10:00 [3] 9.85 mi (7:06 / mi)
slept:9.0

Ran with the Highline boys and with Luke during the fartlek portion. After 25min, we did 8 x 25-60sec surges at a fast pace with about 2-3 minutes between each. I felt surprisingly good on the warm-up and during the surges. On the 7th one, my left adductor groin area felt a slight twing, but I was able to run just fine the rest of the way.

Running (Frager) 56:55 [2] 7.8 mi (7:18 / mi)
slept:8.0

Adductor and ischium area are achy, mainly from yesterday's workout. Kept it easy for about 25min and then gradually picked up the pace but never ran quicker than 6:45 pace.

Running (West Fenwick 400s) 1:02:30 [4] 8.45 mi (7:24 / mi)
slept:9.2

Ran to West Fenwick Park from TJ for the warm-up (18:03, 2.22mi). Workout = 16x400m (4 flat, 4 hills, 4 flat, 4 hills). Splits = 78, 78, 75, 75, 88, 88, 86, 84, 78, 74, 74, 73, 94, 87, 85, 84. Every time I started out, my legs felt stupid; as if I was going to pull a muscle. So I started out in the back on each interval and gradually worked my way up. On the way back to TJ, my legs didn't work and I could have walked back faster if they weren't seized up (22:40).
