Wore Taryn's GPS watch. Lake Young's is 9.15mi around. Ran clockwise around the lake from Soos Creek parking lot on SE 208 St. Splits = 8:04, 6:44, 6:15, 7:10, 6:27, 6:38, 6:45, 6:39, 6:45, 6:49, 4:05. Started feeling tightness in my left groin area after ~3.7mi. It never bothered me but I was hesitant to push the pace as a result. It felt even tighter on the run back to the parking lot.
Ran during planning period. Played 2 periods of badminton beforehand and left groin hurts again. I don't know why I even tried to run today; I was limping most of the time.
Left groin is still bothering me. I cannot cough while standing up or do pull-ups. Did 1 set of squats (the bar @ 21reps) and my hamstrings hurt! Run was very slow!
Ran from the south parking lot. Got to 208th in 28:13, end of trail in 36:54 (8:40), 208th in 8:18, and back in 26:10. Negative split by 2:26. Felt great the entire way. Breathing was never very heavy, but I didn't feel like I could go much faster. Nothing ever bothered me!
