Orienteering race 49:00 [4] 4.2 km (11:40 / km) +230m 9:10 / km

Decided to do the day trip to the Lakes (we'd originally entered yesterday too but couldn't face another weekend away). And really glad we did - brilliant weather, fab terrain and kids kept happy by a stream and string course.
Blue at Colonels Drive (part of Graythwaite estate). Caught my one minute man at number 1 which was nice.
Small mistake at number 3 coming down the reentrant, and a wobble on line a couple of times but clean otherwise. Just sluggish. Felt the hills today.
Result placings wise flattered by the fact most W40s and W45s ran brown today (it was middle distance).

Two short sprint courses on a new map of Josephine butler college. Fab map and great little area but I was struggling with energy and my brain tonight. Second one went much more smoothly as I got into it.
