| Got pretty good race, but couldn't really stay in contact with the map. Made couple of "running in wrong direction errors", but they weren't big and I got 2nd. My official time was 36:42, but the split from the last checkpoint to the finish line was 0.3 s :) Unfortunately haven't seen any animals, just met couple of jumping cactuses.

| Outdoor track meet at River East. The first race was 3k. Muriel speeded it up so much at the beginning and scared everybody (including me), because he was able to hold the pace for 3 laps till he died. Unfortunately, there was no one to run with after, so the time is not so good.
In the afternoon we run 1500m. Was lot more fun, because there was a guy how was pushing it hard. Tried to pass him several times, but he always speeded up as well. Finally I was able to get in front of him, but then he out of sudden speeded up and sprinted towards the finish line. However, it was still one lap to go. Got a lot better time here than on the 3k.
Results: won both 3k and 1500m, but all the intense people weren't there today |
