In the rain to South Norwood CP.

Running (South Norwood CP Parkrun) 26:07 [4] 5.0 km (5:13 / km)
shoes: Asics GT1000

I suppose I should be happy to be a minute faster than a few weeks ago but I was a bit disappointed with my time. I felt that I really pushed the second lap. A lady overtook me, so I tried to hang on to her. On the minor incline (that Martin called a hill!) I overtook her and then she stopped. I shouted "keep going" and then tried to ensure she didn't overtake me at the end. We got chatting and as at it happens she lives really close by, we both have two children so swapped numbers so we can go out for a few late night runs. She is training for Brighton half.

Home, chatting to Louisa who had cycled there.

Running 19:36 [3] 2.2 mi (8:54 / mi) +35m 8:29 / mi
shoes: Adidas Swoops New

Run in Epsom Downs. All downhill to start so an uphill finish. It felt easier than I expected and I feel much more like my old self running. Should have run the extra 30s to make it 20 mins. But feeling quite tired generally and didn't think it was worth it.

Power walk/run 45:00 [1]

It took a lot longer than expected to get the beast to sleep. I felt tired today, so it was a bit slower than usual.

I am not sure about going back to Buggyfit, the instructor wasn't that pushy or motivational. Discovered the crèche watt bike sessions are twice a week, the two days that Menna is in nursery. If I think the time will work, I will try this instead...and do core exercises at home.
