11 AM

Orienteering race (Stanmer and Coldean) 41:16 [3] 5.0 km (8:15 / km) +135m 7:16 / km
shoes: Icebugs

Lovely run in the forest. Lost no more than 2 mins. Felt pretty unfit on the hills and struggled with breathing again until right at the end.

8 AM

Cycling warm up/down 7:00 [2] 1.0 mi (7:00 / mi)
shoes: Giant Avail 2

To South Norwood CP parkrun. Sun was really bright and wind really cold. I haven't been on my Giant for years! Seat felt too high.

Running (South Norwood CP Parkrun) 26:30 [4] 5.0 km (5:18 / km)
shoes: Asics

A comedy of errors.
My hands were a bit numb and my brain dead so I couldn't lock my bike up. I was faffing with the lock which I was using upside down, effing and blinding as I knew I was cutting it fine timewise. I ran to the start but they had just started so I joined the last person and then set off. When I passed the finish I tried to take my coat off, but undid the wrong zip and was running blind with it over my head but unable to take it off. Tried again and had the same problem. Managed it on the third attempt. Continued to run feeling pretty rubbish. Chest tight and it took almost the whole run for it to clear.

12 PM

Power walk/run 45:00 [1]

With pram.

Thursday Nov 23 #

Note

Been fighting off the cold everyone has had for the last week. Annoying, but that and being permanently tired haven't made me feel like running.

Tuesday Nov 21 #

8 AM

Power walk/run 10:00 [1] 1.0 mi (10:00 / mi)

Feeling awful. Run with pram as I was running late for Osian's jabs.
