8. Nat. OL Säntisalp DAL 34/48, winning time 50:39 (Stefanie Steinemann)
Had a clean start this time, the boulder of the first control was already visible from the start :-p
Did a major mistake (and searching a few minutes) to the 4th control, another mistake to the 12th control (completely forgot my compass due to other runners...). And then an amazing blackout on the long route choice. Ran completely different than planned. Realised that I was wrong, but kept on going as direction was more or less correct and I expected to see the steep hill shortly before the control. Finally realised where I am and that I had left the road 500m earlier than planned *ouch*. Actually, if I had run the chosen route a bit cleaner it would have been a good one... (better than the original plan haha)
All in all big fun :-D

Already loosing 2min on the first control. Afterwards I got better into the race.
Sometimes hesitating a bit but also able to push on some controls. Loved it :-)
