JOM Schlusslauf in Homberg (Mettmenstetten)

Acutally I loved this race! Made some mistakes by just not being concentrated enough (went in a crossing too early, took the slightly wrong path etc.) but didn't have to search/stand around. Usually realised rather quickly where I was, but the correction then took some time. Also some route choices were not good, ended up in rather nasty brambles a couple of times...

But all in all I just loved it!
A very short analysis showed that my best times were when I pushed the pace consciously... so: I could be fast if I pushed enough, I'm just too lazy most of the time (and run a comfy jogging pace ;-))

Sime's Gold Sprint

1 mispunch, so the result was not valid anyways...

Had some trouble managing contact with opponents... kept seeing this other girl (I think she started 2' later), so when she punched I did as well and went on, she realised that the right control was just a little bit further in and got the right one but I didn't realise the mispunch until after the finish...

Also had some trouble in the loop at the end- still the same girl around...

I really have to work on just running my own race, ignoring other runners... it's so important in sprints- especially when fast people start behind you and you get caught up.

Didn't push to the limit, but rather chose a fairly comfortable pace. Nevertheless go slower each time (also HR dropped), I should have pushed a little bit more towards the end.

I had planned 6 repetitions, but due to the sprint training in Bern the same day reduced to 4.

OLG Bern Sprint training in Länggasse (the course had also been used for the NLZ kick-off training)

The fences were not all correct on the map (almost all of them were open where they were drawn closed, and the one that was drawn open was closed)... got a bit annoyed, also had trouble to read the map (had to look very closely to see if there were fences at top/bottoms of stairs and so on).
