Despite the beautiful weather...rode on the computrainer for almost 2 1/2 hours. Felt pretty good. Legs were still a little tired, but kept my heart rate pretty low. Daughter had the stomach flu and Ryan went on a 70 mile ride with Birdie. Finished many episodes of Grey's Anatomy. :)

Calories 2 bottles of carbo pro...600 calories. Nutrition was good. I will try one more bottle of water next time.

Week 10 - Bike Focused

Now on to the recovery week. I hope to get more running in than the training calls for.

Finally finished a whole set before tri club came in...

wu: 2 x 75 (last 25 of each did backstroke)
main: 2 x 600 (first 600 RPE 4, second 600 RPE 8). Felt pretty good on both sets...didn't feel to sloppy. Still...want to schedule a private swim lesson)

I wanted to get a quick run in even though it wasn't scheduled. Just ran improvised descending intervals. 5.3, 6.0, 5.5, 6.5, 5.4, 7.0, 5.5, 7.5, 5.3

Completed some tough a$% workout at the studio. It didn't appear difficult - but boy it beat me up.

No idea what course I picked on the trainer.. However, it was the most hilly ride I think have done....14% grades. I couldn't relax and watch Grey's Anatomy AT ALL. Legs felt a little fatigued. That's okay...just means they are working. :)

Biked 12.5 mile loop on compu trainer. Felt good. Just spun the legs and moved back and forth between big ring and small ring. Tried to stay in my aero bars about 90% of the time.
