Note

Walked the Run of Hope with Ryanne and Kathleen. Nice morning. Fun to visit with the girls and support a great cause.

Austin did awesome. Ran it in about 24 min or so...

Run 40:00 [3] 3.5 mi (11:26 / mi)
shoes: Brooks Trance

Time noted might be a bit generous. Needed to start and stop to stretch my hammy. It has really been bothering me.

Real struggle to get the run in. Didn't feel good at all.

Run 30:00 [3] 2.7 mi (11:07 / mi)
shoes: Saucony

Not feeling it at all today

P90X (Yoga) 1:30:00 [2]

Yoga - Really hard to get in zen mood with kids, dog, etc....

Yoga always feels great though. Love pushing myself when it comes to yoga...

Note

Supposed to run for an hour today. Not going to happen.

Want my hammy to recover.

P90X (Back and Biceps) 52:00 [3]

Initially, I was supposed to do legs and back but my hammy has been really sore I didn't want to test it. Nice to see an improvement in the amount of weight I am working with.

Frustrating because I'm not seeing the number on the scale change much. Took my measurements today. In two weeks I've lost an inch here..1/2 inch there, etc. Hopefully the muscle 'mass' will start to burn some of the useless weight off.

Irrgh.

Run tempo 1:00:00 [3]
ahr:150 max:166 shoes: Saucony

WU: 20 min
Main: 4 x 3 min with 2 min recovery
CD: 20 min.

Felt okay. Pretty tired this morning. Crossed my mind the first couple minutes "Hmmm...should I just walk for an hour?" After a couple min felt okay.

Supposed to do P90X (woke up at 4:45 to get it all in). Came home and began with lunges (Plyo workout) and could feel my left hamstring. I had felt it running but just thought it needed to be stretched. Instead of doing P90 I stretched and rolled out my legs.

My hammy/glute is still really sore.

Run 50:00 [3]
shoes: Saucony

Ran slow and easy on the treadmill. Knee felt better today

P90X (shoulders, chest and arms) 58:00 [4]

I really despise pushups.

So many variations in this workout...

Slow in counts of 4. One handed (cannot do). Claps. Slow and fast combo. Pike position. Side to side. Fly push ups (with paper plate). Push up then one arm side raise..

Inbetween all these pushups were a lot of weight workout for triceps and shoulders, chair dips, etc

Arms were wasted afterwards.

Did I mention I DO NOT LIKE push ups???
