Well...not quite the day I had yesterday. I ran a little less than my normal four mile loop. Walked up the hill to 51st and the hill to 40th. I was under calorie, dehydrated and HOT. Our house felt chilly so I put on a long sleeve Smart Wool not realizing it was mid 60's outside (stupid...I know).
I was so hot my shirt was drenched where my arm folds by my elbows. :)
Feel good nonetheless...as always...glad I went out and my legs are feeling stronger all the time.

Yes!!!! Today it finally clicked. After four weeks of running 6 days a week, feeling sore and heavy during every run, feeling like my legs were lead stumps....today it finally clicked. I felt great! I ran the fastest I've ran in years.
I don't know if it's because my legs are finally building the necessary running muscles or if it's because I reduced my mileage a little this week to recover or if the Jillian Michaels squats and lunges are helping...I'm not sure but whatever it was thank goodness.
The feeling I had today while I was running was just pure enjoyment.
Ran the MSFT trail. They have redone the whole thing so it wraps around the campus. It's a really nice trail if you want to just go out for 3 miles or so...
I was tired, legs were sore from Ripped in 30 I had to walk many of the little hills. I could feel almost every muscle in my thighs while running today. Sore, sore, sore.
Short run because A) my legs are hurting after the Jillian Michael's DVD and B) Had a Greenline Organic Juice earlier in the day. It has been confirmed...Greenline Juice + Jill = No bueno. In bed the rest of the night.
