Cycling hills 1:20:00 [4]

Did some hill intervals on the mountain bike. Had a loop that involved climbing out of the river valley three times, so did each hill twice. The first and last were technical, second one just a road. Clearly I don't have the cycling legs like I used to. Staying off the foot until I can do a really productive run to test it out.

Went for a trail run in the X-talons. Foot was good up until 45 minutes. The last 15 were pretty painful. I honestly don't know where this pain came from.

Attempted some intervals. 6 x 2off x 2off x 2 / 3 times. Aborted after the second round due to my new mystery injury, which was definitely a good idea. It started off as a pain in the foot, but has migrated to be what my sister figures is a strain of my Soleus, since its higher up on the ankle but to the medial and lateral side of the achilles. I have no idea where that came from.

To make matters worse, my stupid crappy already fading compass' thumb strap broke. Nice capsule, garbage plate. Time for Moscow?

A nice toodle through Whitemud at 7:30 am. For future reference, foot felt totally fine today. It all goes to hell tomorrow.
