Headed out and did a skate roller-ski, with a 40 minute tempo-y bit in the middle. That's when I started to feel REALLY out of skiing shape. I think I probably would've gone the same speed if I were doing legs only. Ouch!
Did the last orienteering event of the season, a night-o at Terwilligar park. Good fun again, some open, some forest, some ridiculously long grass. It was a score-o, and did it in about 36 minutes.
Did some ski specific strength up Mckinnon Ravine, legs only and then arms only. Legs only make my calves feel less than happy, arms only just showed me what happens when you do no arm workouts for three months. Yikes! It may also have been a factor of my baskets being turned sideways. Should fix that.
The current McKinnon Ravine count stands at 2. A far cry from record which was around 70. *sigh*
