Hoped to run the Invergordon five tonight. Managed to the end of Saltburn before I felt my hamstring going down hill. Had hoped it was improving. Felt really good up until that point. Very cold 1.5C

Pretty disastrous really. Contact lenses didn't feel right from the start then lost the right one between 1 and 2. Found it in the heather and tried to replace it which is never a good idea. Lost for good. Kind of spoiled my run, eyesight is bad at the best of times!! lacked confidence in running over the terrain so just trotted along never racing at all. Depth perception awol.10 mins down on Caroyln, could I have beaten her who knows maybe maybe not.

3 sets of 10reps x 8 different exercises at the Alness gym. Kept the weights really low till I get the hang of the machines.
Some core work and calf strenghening too.

Manage 2 x 400 before I felt my hamstring so just ran back to the car. Hopefully its not too bad as I want to enjoy my warm weather training in a weeks time. Snow on the Ben and a bit cold, should have done more of a warm up.

First spinning class of the winter. It was good to be back and listening to all those 80's tunes. Burnt a good few calories I'm sure.

Body Balance 50:00 [3]

Body balance straight after the spinning. Not sure if this was a good idea or not. Its a shame they are on the same night. I will try for a few weeks and see if it starts feeling a bit easier. I am sooo stiff it's not true. Too many years running and not enough stretching.

Fairly easy run with running club round Alness. Worked hard over the last mile. Beautiful evening if a bit cold.
