Johnny Campbells run up the glen then some terrain running then back down to Evanton on the Evanton side. Freezing fog until quite high then beautiful views over to Wyvis. Back down into the fog on the way home spooky!

Slow steady hilly run behind Fyrish and up onto the moor. Beautiful sunny day but v cold. Never met a soul.

Walk up Fyrish with the relis and hound. Plenty folk around and a big bunch of mountain bikers some of whom we knew so had a good chat at the top.

Short test run with Ali and his new headtorch, beautiful evening and we both managed not to be sick. A great way to finish XMas Day.

2 miles warm up and 2 miles warm down. 6 x 610m undulating road. 1 min recover. With Ali so good fun. 2.40,2.37,2.33,2.31,2.28,2.27. No calf pain but took a few runs to warm up.

Easy run with Ann and Alasdair delivering cards in Edinburgh. Really windy.

Beautiful day so decided to do a longish run up to Little Fyrish. Haven't been this way for ages. Tracks up pretty muddy from all the thinning works. Tracks down all cleared of the gorse so was a bit of a blast. Then back up the quarry road and back home on the tarred road. Calf still complaining after 40ish mins.

Not sure of the time but had an enjoyable run around Invergordon with Steve and Andrew (you could only go to the Xmas meal if you did some running!!) Ken and Alison took the short route. We then retired to the Shandwick Inn where the food is good and the portions enormous.

Back to the physio today, Hoping its third time lucky as we seemed to have sorted the neck pain. Will know tomorrow when I wake up.
