Event: MTB-O Championships

Knee feeling pretty good this morning. Quads less tight - managed to stretch out a bit more yesterday.
Cycling race (MTBO) 1:24:38 [4]** 14.67 km (5:46 / km) +445m 5:01 / km
12/15 on course. 3/4 W21 category. 7/8 women.
22 mins behind first woman on course.
Having to make sure you obeyed one way trails made route choice interesting. Should have taken main track from 8-9 rather than singletrack - but it was fun! Great to have singletrack choices to use skills rather than just forest road options.
Very aware of increased rolling resistance with Nevegal tyres - appreciated the grip at times tho, but really mostly on hard tracks so Fast-track tyres would have been fine.
Knees aching but eased within a couple of hours - analgesics no doubt helped!

Knee quite achey today, but improved during run & felt much better afterwards. Right quads still tight but unable to stretch out properly as knee will not flex enough...yet.

At least Luna has had lots of attention this week - feeling fitter as a result already!

Slight right medial knee pain, but not bad at all. Good to get back on bike!

Now that is more like it!! Knees feeling so much better today - left knee discomfort negligible. Right knee improving during run - quads tightness ++ & difficulty stretching out properly as knee doesn't want to bend that much yet.
Did have a stop after ~35 mins for a very interesting chat!

Temper tantrum on last section of path out of park - refusing to stand!

Knee pretty sore today - partly waterproof leggings pressing on area of stitches.

Very, very slow! Knees ached about as much as I expected - hence very slow pace to minimise discomfort. Felt good to be out jogging in the fresh air tho.

Knee much less painful (as long as I take PK's!) - managed lots more trot work & a short canter.

Knee pain very manageable as long as I take both ibuprofen & paracetamol together. Walking downhill most difficult due to increased forces on patella.
