Edinburgh A-Z map. http://www.gmap-pedometer.com/?r=2130697
Score format with added challenges at some controls to "earn" points.

Managed to complete about 1/2 wall traverse before team decision that it was taking too long & we abandoned it.
Mark & Andrew completed space hopper relay!
Andrew completed slalom skiing on Wii Fit.
Juggled oranges.
Word search.

Back within time limit so no penalties accrued.

Knees still aching with downhill running & pace could be better. Feel knee injury really set me back on the additional training I had planned before this event - didn't get to do the hill running & speed reps that I had planned on my holiday.

Friday Jul 18

Cycling 18:21 [1]5.87 km (3:08 / km)
slept:7.5 (injured)
Short route to check bike ok after bleeding brakes earlier - all seems fine. Just need to get kit organised....

Thursday Jul 17

Running 21:56 [2]4.2 km (5:13 / km) +25m 5:04 / km
(injured) shoes: Saucony Grid Nitrous (New)
Supposed to be an easy "tickover" run before the weekend....... Knees only aching slightly compared to previously - L>R.
Pretty pleased with that as increased stride length really ached last run.
C • Good Luck! 2

Wednesday Jul 16

Climbing 3:00:00 [2]
(injured) shoes: Boreal Joker
A bit of bouldering before the others arrived - was careful not to tackle too many routes & risk being too fatigued to climb later.

Mostly 5+ routes. Completed a couple of 6a's too. Managed ~1/4 way up 6b then changed to yellow 6a route - arms too tired to make a good job of it..... Tired now.....

Tuesday Jul 15

Note
slept:6.5 (injured)
C • Miguel Induran would be scared of you! 2
Horse riding (Hacking) 1:00:00 [0]

Monday Jul 14

Note
slept:3.0 (injured)
Climbing 1:15:00 [2]

Great to be back on a climbing wall & boulders again!!!!!!!!! Have missed climbing so much!
Very happy/contented person with that tonight. Didn't climb anything more that 5+, but knees not a problem & only knocked right knee once. Roll on Wednesday - will try a 6a or two hopefully......
C • Might see ya there then...? 4
