Not only is Florida a swampy heck-hole, but it is unfriendly to runners and pedestrians - major fences, security guards, sidewalks that die, signs on golf courses warning runners to stay out, etc. That's what happens when your only care in the world is low taxes.

You get what you pay for, Mr. Golisano. P.S. Lighten up - try going for a run yourself one day.

Only 2 bikes that were not recumbant style. Did recumbant one for 5 minutes, but decided to go for a run becasue I couldn't stand it. Luckily, one was free when I got back.

Weird seeing people running on treadmills - after my achilles experience I swore never to use one. However, given the unfriendliness of the outdoor running experience, perhaps if you are in FL, you need to pretend that you are actually living life.

OK, so I'm a home-y. ROC isn't such a bad place, folks.

Needed to do extra because of the $60 dinner last night (boss' idea) - lots of various shellfish, chopped steak, ... probably 2000+ calories in one meal.
