Light run - still would like to go to Orienteering this afternoon if I get enough done on my proposals....

Moving slowly after Orienteering

Worst were 2, 5, 8 (lucky find - passed it as I was heading back to try a different attack point)
Have troubles with anything more than 100m from an obvious attackpoint.

Need to get better at
1) reading contours & identifying them on the ground.
2) Using contours
3) actively looking at vegetation thickness on map

Worst was 15 minutes. Beats my last two meets with 30 minute mega-miss controls.

Looking forward to sprints where controls are closer.

Not so bad in hindsight - results posted at http://roc.us.orienteering.org/results/results2009... - ended up third on Green.
