must have been daydreaming (or still sleeping), as I missed the turn to take the run longer, so had to add loop to other neighborhood. Will have to check garmin.

Interesting how arms felt fatigued on runs last few days - weights must help on that aspect.

Good compassing
Bad in doing more dead reconing - i.e. 'run to change in forest' rather than constantly looking at map for turns in path and distances.
I stop & look at map too often.
Did not push either the running or the orienteering very hard. Had to get my confidence up after bad season last year.

No major misses - I should be happy about that.

Major face plant into stream with only 3 controls to go. Helped wash off the major swamp-gunk. (OK, probably should have avoided those areas)

Give it a 4 on intensity, as I'm not too beat up afterwards.

Pretty bad at this sport. However, one day I will put it all together and have the perfect run. Until then, I will just have to dominate string-O.

Wow, extremely stiff & sore - yesterday's speed work coupled with no red blood cells left to speed recovery.

Gave blood today - was arm-twisted by staff into giving "double red". The curse of having A negative blood...
