Completed 'View Graphs' for discussion with potential client (shows his age there). I thought they would take ~30 minutes, but, unlike usual powerpoint stuff, they actually required thought (imagine that!), so it took closer to 4 hours. As it looked awesome outside, I decided to go for a walk. Took the canal east(ish) almost to edgewood.

Slower - went at my meander pace, not at the EJ&R forced march pace (that would have been sweaty in that sunshine).

much neglected. Interesting to see that plot where carrots were carefully planted in rows had few weeds whereas the one next to it where they were scattered had many. So much for laziness.
'Dead' redbud may be alive (some leaves near roots). Also, have not seen the offending vole lately.

Back from Middlebury - dropping R off at 7 week Intensive language school (jealous, despite French being the bane of my high school career...)

Note

1/2 hour crawl to get through one light because of stupid strip mall area in Lake George area... (about the length of monroe ave in Pittsford) unfortunately, seems to be the only way to get through to VT - other ways have huge risks (e.g. relying on ferries!). Seems rather silly to me- all those highways, and then Bam!.
