Long run up lynn valley and then up hanes to grouse. Nice trail, some really technical sections and finally saw Norvan Falls. Pretty hard to actually run on the ascent, especially the section which was just a bunch of rocks we had to scramble over, but still worked up a sweat!
Hills workout with the forerunners group, trying to keep good running form (and my push off's felt pretty good for the first few - then I got tired), and speed up on each set as they got shorter. Pain!

Started out slow, and got the 2nd and 3rd controls pretty well ending up just above on the cliffs. Then coming out of the 3rd control I went to the clearing but was a bit lower than I though and then I decided to get up to the trail - then I stayed too far to the left, when I should have gone straighter... then botched the approach ending up past in the marsh and having to hook back. Coming out of the control I continued making a mistake in angle and getting on a indistinct trail and having to hook back to the left to the trail I wanted to be on. After that I smoothed out at bit, having a hesitation on a short leg near the top of the hill before coming into the stadium for the first time. Had a fun race, pretty much by myself the whole time :)
