Race at SL ranch, about a 4-5 minute mistake on control 2. I gained too much confidence after spiking the first control, then must have exited the control the wrong direction. I definetly need to learn to not just wander in what I think is the right direction when I loose contact. Good race after that - since I kept contact :)

Royal Roads event, lots of fun. Lost some time to small things like trying to cut instead of going around to a small trail and hitting a large patch of deadfall, also fell hard on my elbow...

Ok, so I never thought I would do a 10km on the track. And apparently I do not have the mental stamina to do it well. I was hoping to do this about 1 minute faster... or on average about 3 seconds per painfull lap. I have been having some bowel problems too (actually since wednesday evening...i am either allergic to something, or I have a bug), so the bathroom was looking very good somewhere around lap 15, and I deffinetly hurried there after. Ugh, anyway... this race was cruddy and feel like I haven't gotten any faster over the past three years!!! I am stagnant... sucky and stagnant.
