orienteering training with magnus on 6 mile lake map.
Orienteering 1:10:00 [3]
"course" designed by magnus on the meadow creek map.

Friday May 30

Running 52:00 [3]
run in woods with ben... reasonably intense, as i seem to push harder with someone else there.

Thursday May 29

run through woods, up clinton hill, then to park. warm down after, down to house. Also did some strength exercises... crunches and such
Intervals 15:00 [5]
10 1min intervals, with 30 seconds rest. Nice grassy loop in dunbar park, slightly downhill first, then boot it back uphill.

Monday May 26

Weight training 1:00:00 [3]
Weights at dunbar, tried to keep it quite intense. Did rowing machine, and eliptical trainer to warm up, then some more eliptical trainer to warm down. Usual weights.

Sunday May 25

Day 2, not bad except for i ran towards 4 before i got to 3... then realized... but it wasn't that bad a route choice. Did some pretty bad salal swimming :)

orienteering at newcastle... all pretty good for newcastle, except leg 9--10... ugh...

running with magnus and thomas. Did 2 hill intevals and 1 sand interval, but we all felt pretty crappy, so then we just went for a run.

Short distance race... felt tired/sluggish, felt slightly sick to stomach before starting

Note
been sick since sunday evening (well i was probably coming down with something for awhile) with strep throat, and some sort of viral infection in my mouth. Can only eat soft foods, still have a fever.

Hanging and picking up controls at robert burnaby park. ran/jogged sometimes, but had to slow down to read the map precicly, seeing as how there are alot of weird bits on that map, and lots of new trails made by bikers

run through woods out to triumf, stomach felt a bit odd... and i felt sluggish... but ran ok.
