Hot yoga. Very humid today, and I worked pretty hard. The instructor singled me out a few times and made me do things further/harder... legs shaking for a lot of the postures.

3000 meter track race at the university of washington. I haven't run one of these since high school (when I was much much slower), so I didn't really know what to expect. Apparently this is my official time, so I have changed it... The results seemed a bit confusing, since I thought I was right with a girl at the finish line but the results did not really show it well.

Long adventurous trail run with meghan M, magnus, and elliott. Rivers were raging with the rain and snowmelt, and our trail often became a stream. We had to cross few streams, one of which submersed us up to the knees in very cold water - my lower legs were like stumps for awhile after.

Felt really heavy today, and was slower than have been recently. There are several reasons why this could be:
1. yoga is making me slower / didn't replace electrolytes well after all the sweating
2. not enough sleep/recovery recently (I was feeling sluggish the last few days, and only just recovered from a cold)
3. Iron still low (ferritin tested a week ago and is below the desired cutoff), and didn't eat that much protein over the weekend

Anyway, came home and at a ton of carrot cake :)

it was freezing... cause it started raining. I had to help time, so stood around too much and got cold.

2 km at the track, times not posted, so not sure what my actual time was - will change this when the coach sends them out. Ate waaayyy too close, so felt cruddy.
