5x1mile. 5:06,10,08,11,03. HR was only in the 170s but the legs wouldn't go any faster. Still not fully recovered from Saturday. Is this what getting old is getting like?

Pretty tired this morning, the duvet held me hostage for half an hour. That just meant that when I got out I had to run a bit faster than usual. What a shame.

Went out to do 6x1mile. Stopped after one. Didn't have my Garmin (it wouldnt turn on) but it felt slow. And getting slower. I don't like dropping out of sessions, but sometimes its the sensible thing to do.

Anyone fancy it on Thursday instead?

Jogging in the park with the nemesis McPosh (4th, 8' behind silver...) and Eddie. Then up to the FVH clubhouse for celebratory beers then a dash to the station to catch the train to the Trotter Dinner. Phil Mowbray was the "guest" speaker and was great, gave orienteers the bashing we deserve and quoted Once A Runner (a good caption for Phil in general...)
