Running warm up/down 30:00 [2]
shoes: New Balance
Running race (Some Kind of Carnival) 59 [3]0.4 km (2:27 / km)
shoes: Spikes
Gold Coast. 400m. Finally broke 60. Ran 59.4 and I still am pretty sure i can improve on that.

Sunday Jun 29

Running (Beach) 29:43 [3]6 km (4:57 / km)
The distance is a bit of a guess but it is pretty close, cause we measured it in the car along the coast and it was about that distance give or take.
Swimming 20:00 [2]

Saturday Jun 28

Soccer 35:00 [3]
shoes: Total 90 Soccer boots
Left half way through to head off on holidays. We were playing heaps better then the other team but they were ahead 3-2 when I left. It turns out we had a 3 all draw with them, which is good i spose since they lost such a good player when i left, hehe.

Thursday Jun 26

Soccer 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: Total 90 Soccer boots
Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance

Wednesday Jun 25

Running race (Cross Country) 8:35 [4]2.3 km (3:44 / km) vdot: 50.4
shoes: New Balance
Happy that I was able to improve about 20sec on my last run, even if I was sick then, but I haven't really been training a lot recently since i've been sick. Also felt good and not to hard with no one to run against but myself.
School Sport (Tennis) 15:00 [2]
shoes: New Balance
Running warm up/down (Cross Country) 10:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. warm up/down (Home) 10:00 [2]

Tuesday Jun 24

Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. warm up/down (Zone Athletics Carnival) 15:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Running race (Zone Athletics Carnival) 2:27 [3]0.8 km (3:04 / km)
shoes: Spikes
Was sort of happy with this run since i've been sick for the past 2 weeks, First 3 sort of smashed me 1st was, 2:13 and 2nd and 3rd were 2:16. It seems like we have all the good people in our zone.
Running (Zone Athletics Carnival) 1:00 [3]0.4 km (2:30 / km)
shoes: Spikes
Ran about a 3 sec pb, so i'm happy with that, came 2nd. The guy that won broke the record and ran 53,
Running race (Zone Athletics Carnival) 6:12 [2]1.5 km (4:08 / km) vdot: 42.8
shoes: New Balance
Took this real easy because only 2 people turned up for it in my age and my legs were pretty tight from the 400m which was the event straight before. This turned out to be my last event for the day because I decided not to go in the 3000m because I didn't really want to do it at regionals and it is sooo boring on track.
Running (To Kung Fu) 10:00 [3]1.78 km (5:37 / km)
shoes: New Balance
Didn't feel real good running down some of the big hill on the way down, cause my feet were hurting a bit, took it alot slower then normally even though I don't take it too fast usually anyway
Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: Spikes
Basketball 35:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Won the game. It was a bit annoying though becuase our game was 5min shorter then it is normally because someone injured themselves in the game before and was on the court for ages. Feel a bit duped that they only took 6 min off that game which the score was already obvious in and was running real late. Refs were pretty awful, probably cause we sort of knew them and they were tring to be funny or something, i don't know.

Monday Jun 23

Strength and Conditioning, Etc. (Variety) 30:00 [3]
Was mainly doing punching bag, with some push ups.

Sunday Jun 22

Running (Out) 13:54 [3]3 km (4:38 / km) +20m 4:29 / km
shoes: New Balance
Did a six km run which I ran it sorta hard for the first half then really really easy the second half
Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. (Back) 26:10 [1]3 km (8:43 / km)
shoes: New Balance
Strength and Conditioning, Etc. (Medicine Ball Work) 10:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance
Straight after my run, so I was fairly tired, not so much from my run but I was still fairly energyless. Probably from being sick for ages
Strength and Conditioning, Etc. (Push Ups) 10:00 [3]

Saturday Jun 21

Running 16:30 [4]
shoes: New Balance
Hurt a fair bit since I haven't really done anything for ages
Strength and Conditioning, Etc. (Push Ups) 15:00 [3]
Sort of now got into a habit of doing push ups just before going to bed, though it seems to make me feel pretty weak in the morning.

Kung Fu (Young Class) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Helped out a lot today cause there are so many small kids, and I am about the oldest in the class by about a year.
Basketball (Junior Boys Div 1) 40:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance
Was a weird feeling game. Lost by 1 point but only had 4 players except for the last 5 min. Felt a bit like an international game or something similar becuase they were all speaking in chinese (I think). They had one guy that was a really good shooter.
Running 7:32 [3]1.78 km (4:14 / km)
shoes: New Balance

Monday Jun 16

Kung Fu (Senior Class) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Basketball (MA Grade) 30:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Felt really weird playing cause I was really tired after setting my alarm to 5:30. Even though i didn't (couldn't, hehe) get up then it did disrupt my sleeping a fair bit. Our team scored 14 3 pointers. One of our guys was going off, not sure if he missed, he got 7, another got 6, and one of our big guys got another. Still lost though because the team we were versing was pretty awesome.
Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance

Sunday Jun 15

Basketball (REP Training) 1:30:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance

Saturday Jun 14

Soccer 1:15:00 [3]
slept:830.0 shoes: Total 90 Soccer boots
Won 4-0. I scored one off a header. I think i'm also nearly better from being sick, not quite but enough to say i've recovered on attackpoint. Lets hope I don't jinx myself.
Kung Fu (Workshop) 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Strength and Conditioning, Etc. (Medicine Ball) 25:00 [4]
Dad and I did some work with a medicine ball, stuff like throwing it to each other and seeing how far we could throw it. Got pretty tiring.

Friday Jun 13

Running race (Regoinal Cross Country) 24:50 [4]6 km (4:08 / km) +100m 3:49 / km
(sick) shoes: New Balance
A bit disappointed with this one in that I have been sick for a week and was sick today as well. Came 8th meaning i'm 2nd reserve. The person who came one in front of me beat me by less 50m. I know him cause he lives here in Armidale and does Cross Country on Wednesdays when I do and the last time we both did the 5km course I nearly beat him by 2min. Maybe he wasn't giving it his all then, he's improve alot quickly or me being sick all week disadvantaged me alot, maybe a mix of all three. Didn't really feel like I was really running well until the last 1 and a bit km downhill which I decided to just see if I could catch 8th (I was in 10th) who was about 100-200m ahead of me give or take. Got him and had to sprint a bit at the end to make sure he couldn't get me. The winner ran 20:37 and I think he may have one nationals last yeah or something. Ran 12:09 first 3km.
C • Don't beat yourself up abou... 3
Running warm up/down 30:00 [3]
(sick) shoes: New Balance
Started doing my Warm Up on and off starting 2 houts before. I was trying to get stuff out of my throut by doing some sprints and stuff. Slightly successful, but made my mouth really dry and didn't quite get it all out. I think I may have tired myself out a bit because my legs were a bit tired when I started running the course. Maybe not used to it after a week of basically nothing.

Thursday Jun 12

Running 20:00 [4]
(sick) (rest day) shoes: New Balance
I tell you what, running around your backyard for 20min is soooo boring
C • lol, you ran it twice did y... 4

slept:11.0 (sick) (rest day) shoes: New Balance
Running 2:29 [2]0.55 km (4:31 / km)
(sick) (rest day) shoes: New Balance
Just a run to try and clear out my airways and stuff a bit
Running warm up/down (Cross Country) 15:00 [2]
shoes: New Balance

Monday Jun 9

Note
slept:9.0 (sick) (rest day)
Starting to taper off for Regional Cross Country this Friday, and also recovering a bit from a bit of a cold or something.

Sunday Jun 8

Running tempo (Arbouretumn Laps) 20:00 [4]3.3 km (6:04 / km)
slept:12.0 shoes: New Balance
Did 3x2laps with 2 fast runs/nearly sprints per lap, Not sure of the splits for each one cause I kept messing up my timing. My recoveries were about 1-3min not absolutely sure though. My lengths for each 'sprint' were about 100m but on my last 2 laps I increased the fast parts, therefore also decreasing my rest. Felt Good.
Strength and Conditioning, Etc. 20:00 [2]
Getting into shape, hehe.

Saturday Jun 7

Event: QBIII

Running long (Tempo) 1:13:15 [5]12.5 km (5:52 / km)
slept:3.5 shoes: New Balance
Kelly's Plains. Ran out the first 6.25km in 29:15 but then had to change the tempo's I was sort of doing on the way out, which was a jog then run hard between two distinctive objects to a walk then run, because I was sort of dizzy and not feeling to good. My first thought was dehydration because I hadn't had much to drink and I'd just had some hot chips beforehand which didn't help, but then it was probably partly more tiredness from my lack of sleep last night. Was intensity 5 because of how I feeling, didn't really have a lot to do with the amount of effort I put in, because I didn't put in a lot for fear of getting injured, etc, cause of sore muscles and dizziness

Friday Jun 6

Running hills (Arbouretum) 47 [3]0.19 km (4:07 / km) +14m 3:01 / km
shoes: New Balance
On the way home I decided to do one of my hill sprints, and I tell you it is a heap harder to do with a pretty heavy bag on your back, while wearing school clothes.
Cycling (Kelly's Plains) 18:35 [3]6.1 km (3:03 / km)
shoes: Old Road Bike
C • Nice Shoes 3

Thursday Jun 5

Note
(rest day)
Having another rest day today because I had eistedford. It was the compositions section in which I came equal first with two other. Yeah shock to me too. I was heaps surprised cause there was an awesome pianist piece and clarinet, piano piece which I drew with. I was able to beat one of my friends who is a heaps good all round musician. I don't know how this happened cause I didn't think my piece was that good after hearing the one before me. Big Shock, but cool I spose.
C • Well congratulations on tha... 5

Wednesday Jun 4

Running (Cross Country) 19:18 [4]5 km (3:52 / km)
shoes: New Balance
I was pleased with this pb, cause it shows my training is paying off and that I can improve even when the conditions aren't perfect (the ground was a bit slippery from recent rains). I am looking forward to how much I improve in two weeks time, because next week I am only going to do a shorter run because I will be tapering off for regional cross country on friday. I was feeling slightly dizzy at the end of this run, proberly from lack of water or food throughout the rest of today.
Running warm up/down 15 [2]

Tuesday Jun 3

Note
(rest day)
Was ment to have Kung Fu and Basketball but I have eistedford for not going to kung fu and we have a bye in basketball anyway

Monday Jun 2

Running hills (Arbouretum) 2:00 [4]0.57 km (3:31 / km) +42m 2:34 / km
shoes: New Balance
3x190m, 14m climb
Decided to only do 3 today but I pushed these really hard but with slightly more rest. Times were:

38, 37 & 34
C • ?? 3
Walk/Jog/Stretch, Etc. warm up/down 15:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Kung Fu 1:00:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance
Basketball (MA Grade) 40:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance
Lost by just a couple of points I think but not really sure how much cause with about 45sec to go I got a good head butt in the nose which made it bleed like crazy so I didn't really get to pay much attation to the game after that, partly cause I couldn't see to much with the amount of tissues. Some people were wondering if it was broken cause of the amount of blood but I don't think it is cause it isn't crooked, bit swollen though. Still really sore and only just stopped bleeding. I think the intensity at the end was about 5 but not for the rest of the game.

Sunday Jun 1

Orienteering race (Blue Hole, Short Red Part) 35:00 [4]*** 4.5 km (7:47 / km) +145m 6:42 / km
11c shoes: $40 O'Shoes
This Long Red Course was made up of the Short and Micro Red Courses with a map change in the middle. I was really happy with how I was going for the Short Red (4.5km, 145m climb) and I got to the map change in 35min but I really didn't quite get many great in the Micro (2km, 80m climb), which shows with my slower time for that part. I started off going to #11 cause I only read one of the 1's on the map but realised when I'd pretty much made it there, this cost me a couple of minutes and I didn't get much better over running some and getting confused on #9. Even with my mistakes I think I still may have had the fastest time, not sure though and I was happy with the way I was running.
Orienteering race (Blue Hole,Mircro Red Part) 36:00 [4]**** 2 km (18:00 / km) +80m 15:00 / km
11c shoes: $40 O'Shoes
Really Disappointing after my good start. I think I just lost a lot of my momentum and maybe also it was a bit more technical and maybe I wasn't in the right frame of mind with some of my stupid mistakes.
