sprint orienteering race (NSW Sprint Champs) 17:00 [5] *** 2.9 km (5:52 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite-230

GGRRRRRR!!! I am yet to really nail an important sprint and this one was no exception. All the little building detail was a little hard for me to read and I lost map contact on the way to #7 which cost me way too much time to be in contention for anything. So I just kinda slowed down cause I couldn't win. So annoying!!! I love sprints but they don't love me :(

sprint orienteering (INTENSE JULES TRAINING!!!) 15:30 [5] 3.3 km (4:42 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 f-lite-230

second addition to INTENSE JULES TRAINING!!! we did a mass start sprint course with lots of the same controls as our previous course. Started out by stuffing the first control (wrong building...) and then got way behind the boys in front then made my was back up. Pace suffered towards the end and I couldn't contest the sprint finish. I think I'll have to do a little more base fitness work to keep up with alexM and josh around these unis.

Orienteering race (QB3 long Poppet Head) 1:11:00 [4] **** 10.56 km (6:43 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

I think its appropriate to put my garmin distance in today. RIDICULOUS!!! my brain was feeling fairly useless so basically stuffed up every single control apart from 1 & 2. At least I get more training hours out of this race than anyone else. lol

Orienteering race (QB3 Middle) 40:03 [4] **** 5.6 km (7:09 / km)
shoes: Inov-8 X-talon 212

My only "alright" race for the weekend. Still nothing fantastic about it though. Was going pretty good for a few controls but then stuffed up 12 by about 2:30 minutes and that slowed me down on the next. Would have been a good run otherwise. A bit more training out in the forest me thinks
