plus my mothie had to drive my brother to the airport so i had to bus home all dripping and wettt. unpleasant. esp as i didn't have a pulli!

+ like two seconds of pool running - (the kind where you put your feet on the ground) i felt like a sillyhead but it would have been fun if there weren't lots of people there.

it was good fun, few twinges from the knee but it feels better now! dude got some sweet stair descending action going.

in other news, my knee feels so much better today! like i was doing some extreme stair climbing and non-peg-legged walking! it's liike i'm a real person yayyay. dunno if it's the swimming or the time. probs both. life is a conundrum. i had to think about ticking the injured box. but it still hurts so yeah.

i feel so much better :P

went to ais, did 4 sets of 250m, pretty chilled but chucked some bilateral breathing and lots of arms without breaths and sprints in there. hahaha my sprint is probably like all of your normal swimming..

funn yeah i feel good now. the knee is pretty goood. the swelling has gone down quite a bit and bruising come up. it also bends a bit more.

k dudes, i talked to liz (our mad team physio) and she said no running for at least another week. and to make sure i get the xray to make sure there isn't a chip offfff my kneecap. but if there isn't then i can swim :D and when it bends enough, ride a bike :D :D dude i'm pumped.

in other news, i got my new BL shirt! woo! and the whole squad were guns at todays selection race!! while i sat knitting....(lol joshhh, i'm learning fast. ahhaha)

my knee is more sore today than yesterday and it's stiffff. i was trying to bend it more yesterday so that's probably why. gahhh this is annoying.

in other news! i'm about to go and write an essay and i got awesome new jeans today :) and!! TEF i'm going to be george's coach for tomorrow's selection race! she's going to dominate.

the doctor himself was sick, so i could see him about my xrays! knee still ow on intense bending. like climbing stairs and thingss. it hurts in one spot particularly - on the inside side of the knee underish the patella. hard to describe.

in other news! i went to donate blood today with school, but they said i was a bit anaemic so they couldn't take me! frustration,, i was so excited!! i even wore a red ribbon in my hair to go with the blood.

yep that's today. right now my brother is getting his wisdom teeth out!

instead of ballet we did this cool new flexibility thing! aims on relaxing the muscles of the back and neck, making your legs more flexible somehow!

it actually works! i was almost in front splits which is like wowowowow for me. total excitement factor.

well i wasn't injured when i started but i am now! gahh nomi just landed at frustration station. i fell over and now my kneeble is all bruisyswelly. don't know if i've actually done anything to it but for now it hurrts. and is all bleedy. haha as olle and i decided, it's like 3 knolls with a saddle in between!

the bit of the course i did was good. ibut i woosed out when i fell. plus it was about to snowwww or something (freeeezing!!) so i hobbled back where i was looked after by all the niice people.

yepp that's today. at least now i have an excuse not to work tonight!

i was late out so i couldn't do anything interesting. my sillyhead brother was in the shower when i got up so i couldn't get my contacts! so i had to wait around for aagesss.

just a sec my timing machine is beeping and wont stop and i can't figure out how to turn it off! ahhh it's going to haunt me forever.

anyway. it was raining! i must have looked like some little blue martian with a face and skinny legs sticking out :P ahh my hair is dripping on my keyboard.

yepp it was okay..just jogged around the pinnacle. everytime i thought about my running i realised that could go harder and i would for a bit then i'd drift off and think about something else and slip back to the original slow jog.

uhuhhh. showertime!

after picking my "flat" road (the hardest bit) i ran along it at varying speeds, for varying times :P

i'll just copy the thingo from joshwaaa's hope he doesn't mind:

yepp. it was pretty good, now that i'm home i think i should have gone harder. because i feel pretty good. i should be exhausted. blehhh. anyway, i didn't make it back past my starting point :( maybe because i found a hill in the middle of my flat road! so i ran down it on the way there and then i had to run up the hill on the way back. i'll try and find somewhere flatter next time. yep it was fun.

a set of 4 X 1.2kmish O intervals. set by coach grant :) controlled (dodgily, how embarrassing) by nomi and luke. lol. they were in the wrong spot.

but it was fun. my quads were tired at the start because luke and i ran up the pinnacle while setting. but warmed up quite nicely.

and yeah. funn. and then the whole gang ( minus coach grant, sam richard and el lukeo) came for dinner and showers then went to olle's viola recital!

they were doing some major rabbit extermination at the pinnacle! big machinery, fluoro pink tape, the works. so there were lots of rabbits just chillin'. as there homes had been squished. and there families killed. luke knows what i'm talking about!

but all in all good fun! and a nice day to go with it :)

horrible horrible horrible course at badja. i will do a full thingamajiggy later, but for now i will share with you the 3 rules of orienteering:

1. Don't stuff up.

Orienteering race (sunday series) 2:05:00 [3] **** 7.4 km (16:54 / km)

sunday event at badja.

well, it was pretty terrible. well absolutely terrible.

number 1 was ok, i was a bit..behind it. humm that doesn't make sense. i went a bit far on the track because it was a bit confuso, so i was to the left of it and came across. but hit it then.

number 2. no no no horrificness coming. i dunno. everything should've gone right but it didn't! i went to the boulders and up the gullio but i came into the marsh, and i should've relocated from the fence and trees and such but no! i had to be a sillyhead and not be logical. so basically it was dreadful. in the end i found it but ahhhh. i must have been so brainless and not concentrating to screw it up. gahhh. it took forever!

up to number 8 was pretty ok. a little mistake on 4 but noticed quickly and got back on track.

thennn! number 8 - 9, i made a silly route choice, well at least i think so. down the hill, along the gullymarshything where i fell in!! so i squeltched along and past number 12 into the saddle past one knoll, two knoll into the gully and down. but i think i should've gone over the top. save the wet feet.

mm it was pretty good from there to 16. but then! number 17.

it took me foreeever to decide which way to go. and it was all okay up to the track, slowlyyy up the hill though. then i lost focus and got scared by the herd of sheep and drifted off. so i ended up coming around the opposite direction than i intended. and it seemed to take a long time!

from there on it was pretty okay as well. yepp.

all in all, quite a saga. gahh i just want to go and do it again correctly!

in other news! today we went to the hospital to look at the babies! for developmental psych. veryyy interesting + informative. and cuteee babies. i'm exhausted though, because we missed lunchtime to go. but i'm about to have some pastaa now. cranky about not training this morning; i should have. i'll just have to make up for it this weekend!

5 X run up pinnacle, walk halfway down, jog the other half.

then a warm down jog around the pinnacle, across the bush to that cross road near the dam and back along the main track.

it was good, but i was feeling a bit congested when i woke up so i decided not to go super fast.

in other news! there is a big golden sun today! and GOOD LUCK josh, be a rocket launcher. alsooo. there was no frost. except on my legsss frozen solid.

anyway, i should go and showerrr or i wont be ready for school in time!!

a nice easy run at bruce ridge with coach grant and olle. my feet went numb. i stressed out at the beginning cos i thought i might get stitch but i didn't :) mm funnn. but every gate that we got to on the way back i thought was the start :P

in other news! olle came 2nd at his cross country (GUNNNNN) and i had a huge disaster with finding my friend at her school and my telephone running out of battery. gahhhh. and there were awesomeee huge piles of ice out the front of the ais. i wonder what from.

dude 9km! i am like the proudest proud person to walk the earth!!

it was reaalllly good. really enjoyed it as well.

the end of the first lap was wayyy the worst bit, but after that i kept pushing the pace a bit and it was gooood. my feet went hardcore numb though.

i only warmed down for about 5 minutes but i will stretch now.

warm up, jogged for about 1km ( i just measured that with a unfolded paperclip :P) then on the way back sprinted to a tree, then jogged to the next, etc. then sidesteppies (for coach josh) forwards backwards and grapevine.

i got a stitch! only on the way back. quite an owie one.

then stretched for about five minutes and jogged back to where the course started.

despite my hardcore warmup, i still had a stitch the whole way around! and i only ate half a banana and half a glass of bluethingamagic before i went out! rarrrr whyyyy?

oh and i should be made to quit orienteering for the stuppiido mistako i made at number 13! i don't know how it happened though. anyway.

i think i'll take up lawn bowls.

owwww. we did barre for about half of it, then limber for the rest. oh the paiiiin. she was all into holding stretches for 4 minutes, which is a long time sitting in the splits if you can't do the splits.

buttt. it doesn't hurt. yet.

weston park O, first saturday series.

pretty good, but legs felt first like jelly and then like concrete (because of ballet)

and i forgot to slow down coming out of the clearings into the bush so i had to make myself slow down and pinpoint my location. which took a little bit.

but running was pretty okay, once i had warmed up. a little bit of stitch, cos i ate straight after ballet and went straight to O.

and tested out my steroids. can't tell if they made a difference :P

another 6:30am run, not as cold because of cloud cover. i wore an odd assortment of garments anyway, as i figured no (sane) person would be over there so early.

anyway, i ran from my house, around the pinnacle to the steps side, up the steps side, down the opposite side, back up the same way, rest.
down the side 90degrees to the steps, up again, rest.
repeat X 6

the rests were about 30seconds, stretch a bit and stop puffffing. rarr so tiring.

i need to practise this.

oh and coach grant, i got a bit dizzy at the top of the hill. does this mean i should eat something before i go out (a banana and some steroids (blue powerade)?)
