| horrible horrible horrible course at badja. i will do a full thingamajiggy later, but for now i will share with you the 3 rules of orienteering:

well, it was pretty terrible. well absolutely terrible. number 1 was ok, i was a bit..behind it. humm that doesn't make sense. i went a bit far on the track because it was a bit confuso, so i was to the left of it and came across. but hit it then. number 2. no no no horrificness coming. i dunno. everything should've gone right but it didn't! i went to the boulders and up the gullio but i came into the marsh, and i should've relocated from the fence and trees and such but no! i had to be a sillyhead and not be logical. so basically it was dreadful. in the end i found it but ahhhh. i must have been so brainless and not concentrating to screw it up. gahhh. it took forever! up to number 8 was pretty ok. a little mistake on 4 but noticed quickly and got back on track. thennn! number 8 - 9, i made a silly route choice, well at least i think so. down the hill, along the gullymarshything where i fell in!! so i squeltched along and past number 12 into the saddle past one knoll, two knoll into the gully and down. but i think i should've gone over the top. save the wet feet. mm it was pretty good from there to 16. but then! number 17. it took me foreeever to decide which way to go. and it was all okay up to the track, slowlyyy up the hill though. then i lost focus and got scared by the herd of sheep and drifted off. so i ended up coming around the opposite direction than i intended. and it seemed to take a long time! from there on it was pretty okay as well. yepp. all in all, quite a saga. gahh i just want to go and do it again correctly! | ||

| dude, oww. lots of different strengthening exercises, mostly lying on back with legs in air at 90degrees. owww. beats, flutterkickythingy owww. now my legs are a bit jelllly and tired. and abs a bit dead too. off to O! | ||

in other news! today we went to the hospital to look at the babies! for developmental psych. veryyy interesting + informative. and cuteee babies. i'm exhausted though, because we missed lunchtime to go. but i'm about to have some pastaa now. cranky about not training this morning; i should have. i'll just have to make up for it this weekend! ooh dilemma. who's going to badja? i wanttt to but my mother objects because it's mother day. rarr! | ||

| 5 X run up pinnacle, walk halfway down, jog the other half.
then a warm down jog around the pinnacle, across the bush to that cross road near the dam and back along the main track. it was good, but i was feeling a bit congested when i woke up so i decided not to go super fast. in other news! there is a big golden sun today! and GOOD LUCK josh, be a rocket launcher. alsooo. there was no frost. except on my legsss frozen solid. anyway, i should go and showerrr or i wont be ready for school in time!! | ||

| a nice easy run at bruce ridge with coach grant and olle. my feet went numb. i stressed out at the beginning cos i thought i might get stitch but i didn't :) mm funnn. but every gate that we got to on the way back i thought was the start :P
in other news! olle came 2nd at his cross country (GUNNNNN) and i had a huge disaster with finding my friend at her school and my telephone running out of battery. gahhhh. and there were awesomeee huge piles of ice out the front of the ais. i wonder what from. | ||

| tired tired tired. about to fall asleep soon. couldn't concentrate in maths. but that's not unusuallll.
anyway, rest day. miiight go running tomorrow morning. oh wait! we have a blue lightning run in the afternoon! suuper. can sleep in a bit. hurrah! in other news, today was a tuesday. i had school, which was boring, but i had a free first so we breakfasted out. yummm the best avocado on toast everrr. | ||

| dude 9km! i am like the proudest proud person to walk the earth!!
it was reaalllly good. really enjoyed it as well. the end of the first lap was wayyy the worst bit, but after that i kept pushing the pace a bit and it was gooood. my feet went hardcore numb though. i only warmed down for about 5 minutes but i will stretch now. fun fun fun i am enthused!!! | ||
