| Will suggested that he shadow me on a makeshift course after we were done with our other courses. I think this was the best training I've done in a long time, at least since the last time I was at Pawtuckaway. His comments gave me a lot of confidence as well as some things to work on. In particular speed and reducing the map. Thanks, Will!

| Pretty good run at CSU's Pine Hill meet. I'm being reasonably harsh with 6/14 spikes. Mostly I was just a bit off in approaching the controls, losing maybe 30 seconds on some. My only big error was in approaching #10 from the trail to the east. I got stuck in some green stuff for probably 5-6 minutes. | ||

| A nice course by Sanna at Stonehurst. The map was printed without trails. Had there been trails on the map, more optimal route choice would have been available.
Therefore, if I were able to "figure out" where the trails were, I would have been able to capitalize on trail runs. This worked reasonably well for #1 and #5, but I really blew it on #10. On the other hand, I did end up with a fast trail run for #10, even though it was way out of the way. I'd say overall I lost ~2-3 minutes from bad route choice and general mistakes. I felt like I could have pushed harder, too (though probably with more errors) so I'm giving it a 4 intensity. | ||
