Sunday Nov 5

cycling warm up/down (road) 1:50:00 [3]* 21.0 mi (5:13 / mi)
slept:8.0
Biking from my apartment over to Breakheart Reservation and back (~1hr there, 50min back - made some optimisations on the return trip). Route.
Orienteering race 1:30:10 [3]*** 8.25 km (10:56 / km) +250m 9:29 / km
spiked:17/19c
Blue course at the NEOC club champs at Breakheart Reservation. Screwed up the 13th control badly, other than that no major errors. Could have been maybe 85 minutes, but not any faster. No quad or arch problems.
Note
I have to say I was expecting a bit more of a turnout for the club champs. I guess Will could be right about orienteering in Boston.

Blue - Splits

Saturday Nov 4

running (road) 28:47 [2]***** 3.2 mi (8:59 / mi)
ahr:149 max:165 slept:9.0 shoes: Gel Cumulus 2006
Morning run over to tufts with a 1:10 Pawtuckaway map. Very little concentration. Made it through 11 controls. Probably would have made 2 big mistakes.
strength (upper) 20:00 [3]
2x15 rep circuit on the upper machines in the MAC "quick circuit" room. I'm so weak.
