Well, today started out promising but after the third control was again quite easy and mainly just a physical challenge. I managed to slop up #3, so I guess I can't complain too much. Yesterday and today were decent results, I think. The AP ranking looks lower than I expected. I guess nobody had big mistakes.

Had zero energy, probably some combination of altitude and lack of training. The course was quite easy, and not a great use of the terrain. For some reason, they decided to put the water on roads. Only, not actually on the roads, but in grassy ditches beside the roads. Lost a minute on that one. Also the water wasn't exactly where indicated on the map. Wouldn't be such a problem back in Boston, but since I'm puffing away on the low oxygen, water is pretty essential.

Took a late flight out last night to Denver and spent the night in the airport. Then got a ride out this morning to the convention. I decided I should at least jog around a bit before tomorrow, so I went for a really short jog with the Hubermans. Tried some strides afterwards. Altitude is not fun.
