Event: Boulder Dash 2007

Boulder Dash day 1 (blue) in New Hampshire. Not a great race, but turns out it wasn't a great race for anyone else either. Preran, and started 4 minutes back from Ross, who I caught at #10 when he made some big error. Lots of small mistakes and poor contact. Woods were really thick, which didn't help. Felt like I was drifting the whole time.

Ran from home over to Davis along Highland and back along Elm, crossing over the hill a couple of times to add some climb. Pretty hot out.

CSU track workout. Just Ross and me today. 4x800 @ 3min pace.

The rest bouts were 400m jogging. Ross wanted to do 30sec rest, but I was pretty sure the Daniels workouts specified 3min on, 2min off. I think the last time I did this was last year. I distinctly remember that workout being awful, while today's wasn't that bad, though I think a fifth interval would have been really hard to keep on pace. Of course, last year I was running in the blazing NC sun in the middle of the day...

17c shoes: Adidas Novas
Leg 4 of the 4pt relay at the relay champs. My mind just wasn't here today. First 7 controls were fine, if rough. Then I just stopped paying attention on #8 and had a bunch of small mistakes after that. I also felt slow, though not weak, which is kind of weird.
