Ian and I went out to Boojum and did a partner run around a short course (~4.5km, I guess?) This pinched nerve thing was bothering me a lot by the end.

Got up at 8 to finally fix my bike, then headed over to Danehy for a cup game with WTR against the team that has won the top league for the past 3 years. They were not as good as I would have thought, but we still lost 3-1. I don't think anyone had much, but I was certainly dragging the whole time. Same pain in my right leg is still bothering me; feels like a pinched nerve somewhere near the base of the spine or hip or something like that. Stretched out a lot, but it didn't help at all.

Game with the West Town Rockets vs. Kendall Wanderers B (Irish guys). Won 3-0, after a couple of early goals, one of them the result of the opposing goalie coming out of the box and handling the ball, which also sent him off the field with a red card. Scored the final goal in the last minute or so, when a defender was chasing the ball down towards the corner and saved it from going out. I scoped it up and put it in the net; basically a free goal.

Having some lower back issues, which is giving me shooting pains in my legs; probably need to do core stuff more regularly.

Some core stuff. Not a super-big workout, but probably a less-intense workout every day is better than one big one each week.

Signed up for the COCs today. I thought the NAOCs in Ontario were expensive, but apparently the standard for Canadian events is 175% the cost of US events. I certainly hope my high expectations are met.
